For those who uses or know anything about a wireless usb please help me out. Ive been facing alot of net problems lately, and cant work out some answers.
first of all .. here i have my wireless speed and signal strength

one shows that my net is really unstable, which i guess is right since i have been disconnecting and lagging in the game.
But when my signal strength and speed was at its highest (54.0mbps, excellent signal strength) it stills remains the same .. i d/c and lag as well.
so does anyone know why this is? does that thing even give the right information?
btw, my wireless USB is a Netgear 54mbps Wireless USB 2.0
please dont tell me to move closer to the router or run a cable because i dont have the room for that .. and incase you want to know, im about 20metres away from the router.
please help :]

I have no i dea, I use wireless too. For me, it never reaches Excellent from my room, I gotta go into another room in a house to get excellent, but it works fine. I find that there might b some interference with the reception, check if there are any other electrical appliances in the vicinity. For example, whenever i put my laptop in the center of the desk, the signal is low, but when i put it @ the back, near the wall and the light, its very good. Move ur laptop around and try it, or do sum Fung Shway (sry if i spelt it wrong) and put ur laptop elsewhere!

thanks,
because you need to attatch a splitter into your phone line, all of them in the house and it'll stop that.
as for the use connection thing, i have exactly the same one, but it works fine even from my room. are you using highspeed usb port? have u tryed moving ports?
