My main approach to sro, being a lvl 72, is to help others. All I see are people on the low end ( 1-30) and people on the high end (64-80) in jobbing, real grinding, etc...

So, ive come up with an idea...

Every weekend, for 2-3, maybe more hours per day, I get a group of 7 newbs, random people or friends who are all at a similar level, and I make it a priority to gain them 4-10 levels, depending on where they are, absolutely free.

What ive noticed is that many of those low levels have become lvl 40-50 traders or hunters, who have started to powerlevel on their own as well... I've made lots of friends, and have brought a lot of like minded people together, some have started or joined guilds together...

Now what I do is small, but people on my server know who I am and what I do. Now my friends, who are near my level, have started doing the same thing.

I think if each lvl 60+ could dedicate just one or two days per week to powerlevel friends and simply random, good people, then silkroad online could really become a more exciting, better place.

Thoughts?

i play abt twice a week, no time for that ... plus i gotta lvl myself

ya wat server r u on? id love 2 help out with this...being a lvl 4X, i can easily lvl a lvl 10 to 25.

Also id advice u not to lvl any1 below lvl 10, if ppl start 2 get pwrlvled from b4 10, they wont understand how the gameworks.

if they really want to improve sro, joymax should add a statue of me in hotan or change the one on those fountain for mine

Been doing this with my friends since last 2 weeks ago.... I got to agree that doing this you'll earn respect from other players... and you'll aslo make new friends.

true, i find it more fun doing this, then grinding etc alone, cooler to help out ppl that nearly started the game and that needs help, and true u make alot of friends^^

can i go to your server and powerlvl me to lv 52..

I already lvled one of your chars. Two of my friends from two different servers already helped you on their respective servers. How many chars on how many servers do you want? My best advice to you is just to stay on one server, and concentrate on lvling that char.

Yes i know, I play on HERC. Thats my final choice and i will be staying there but also playing on Pacific because i have friends there.

yeah my final choice tho is hercules, now when where gonna start to powerlvl us..

Ok, the last time I'll post on this thread. I hope andrejat plays on Herc (if s/he doesnt, well I dnt know how s/he would respond to your comment, cause I know I wont be too happy <.<). When players like andrejat help to powerlvl other players, and not ask for anything in return. It really means that they help players who will later on help other players. In effect, they help improve the average lvl of the players in their server, make friends, have more fun, keep the server active and alive. So if enough players help other players, the server will be a really fun and active place to be playing in (reiterating what s/he just wrote above).

What they do expend is time. A very valuable commodity, more so in this game. In the amount of time that they wouldve helped those players, they couldve leveled their own char, go sp farming, chat with a friend, go pvp, watch a movie, work, study, talk with family, go to a coffee shop outlet and enjoy a freshly brewed expresso under the sun. But they opted to donate their time, so you dont have to (by shortening your leveling time). So dont abuse this please. There arent many players that would donate their time for others.

So only ask for help if you are going to stay on that server for the long run. But thats just common sense isnt it ? ^_^
