Going abit too far i think..

Not that you guys give a crap, but I only use mouse. Like once or twice I use keys and didnt really notice a difference, except that when using fingers on keys, my hand will start to ache after a while (hmm carpal tunnel anyone)? So I only use my click. Besides, it takes forever for bow skills to launch.

Oh, all my main skills start from the left side. Like 0 is anti-devil, 9 is fire imbue, 8 is 4-arrow combo, etc for easier clicking. And my friend thought I was left handed when he logged into my char once. LOL.

Simpel here, pressing the mob then pressing num-pad 1. And on But thats only for grinding though. In pvp i use my fingers If you play it a lot you can find the F1-F4 keys without any problem.

Well.. my imbue button is on either one of the following keys: 3, 6, or 8.

3 for builds which require bar switching, 6 or 8 for those which don't.

Index finger controlls 4, 5, 6 and 7, usually rests on 5.
Middle finger controlls 3.
Ring finger controlls 1 and 2 and switches to F2 for the buffs.

Are you referring to how the border around the skill slots flashes on and off all across the skill bar... like someone is just tapping their fingers back and forth on the number keys? I've always wondered about that.


So, you occasionally take your right hand off the mouse and use it on the keys?

Well, yeah. I take my fingers off my mouse. I dono, i just find it much easier to work my "right side" of the keys with my right hand, even if it's far from my resting position.

For example, when im in cleric mode. I hardly have my right hand on my mouse.

I use F4 for pots, pills, party etc
F1 for skills
F2 alternate skills (For 2nd char that uses bow and S/S)
F3 buffs
But now put buffs in S1 and S2 so F3 is empty

what i do is
1,3,4(KD) the button smash 2 or 5(stab) or 6(chain),
If it gets KD i stab
if it doesnt, i use chain, or smash
then repeat the process XD

1= party
2= sit/stand up
3=ghost spear
4= jade breaking spear
5=Soul spear
6= tiger chain
7= lightning nuke
8= imbue
9=poison heal
10=heal other people which i use on myself ^o^

i keep my fingers on the 8,6,5 keys, i only use my nuke when more then one enemies ar near.

8= pointing finger
6= middle finger
5= ring finger
E= pinky (it simply lands there)
space=thumb (it simply lands there)

auto attack on middle mouse with keyboard shortcut O
grab on g, view items on k, 0 is imbue 9,8,7,6,5,4 are attacks, 1 is speed buff 2 is phantom walk 3 is phys att buff

index finger on O, pinky on G, middle finger on 8, thumb on windows key, everything reaches everywhere

Anyways, my right hand is always on my mouse, cept when I'm typing. My left hand, ring finger is always on 1, middle on 2, index on 3. When I pvp or grind they'll jump as they please over the 1~6 range and the F1~F4 range. Anything after 6 or 7 I do with the mouse.

precisely. I know some macros will do that, but macros for pvp is like the special olympics, and using one just proves your terrible. So its either a macro, or the person is literally just smashing his number keys.

Go into "Options" and under the "Input" tab there's a space where you can enter a key that will assign it to that M slot... should be labeled "middle mouse" something, I think... sorry not ingame ATM. Then just drag whatever skill you want that key to activate into that slot.

I hope that's what you're asking about.


Hmmm... that's really unique... but, ya' know... I tried placing my fingers like that and it feels pretty natural. It would require some reconditioning, but it's something to think about. The thumb on windows key... is that just where it falls for no reason, or have you assigned that key to something in the game somehow?


Well, I know that macros cause the skills to flash around stupidly fast. But I have seen some "finger dancing" that's pretty quick. I've tried tapping the embue key really quick as it's nearing the end of cool down, seeing if it would trigger more quickly. But honestly, I don't think it's any faster than just timing it so you press it once after it flashes back on.

As an example... this is the first video that I watched that impressed me with switching bars and fast finger work. I don't know the player and I'm not promoting the build, I just like this a lot as an example of skill bar switching (catchy tune, too ). He's obviously tapping some keys rapidly, but it seems to be done with some control... not random button mashing. I could see where that might be quicker.

In some parts, when weapon switching I think, it appears that keys 1, 4 and 9 are flashing. I don't know how that could be done unless he's taking his hand off the mouse momentarily and using two hands on the keyboard to switch weapons. Or, at least that's what it looks like to me.

that vid is controled button smashing, he pretty much presses the key until the attack is carried out, even though he doesnt have to. Ive seen vids where like 5-6 skills are being smashed at all times, where the person is obviously not paying attention at all to what he uses next. Ill go look for some now

I use the default keys, except for auto pick up, which I assigned to "space"...
I put main attack and imbues on 1,2,3 and 4, buffs to 5,6 and 7 and potions & pills to 8, 9 and 0.
