If a botting company has 500 computers they can bot on, it means they can run 500 bots on an sro server. Now, if they use this trick, thats allows them to have 1000 bots. If their pc's are high end enough, they may do it a few times. Meaning more and more bots. Thats why it could be considered "illegal".

That''s why they use a bot that doesnt need a client, do you think that a really high end pc could run 500 sro clients at a time ??
Maybe a rack of application servers could do but that would cost a ton to buy

500 is a bit of an exaggeration is it not?I was referring to something as along the lines of 3, maybe 4.
And about the whole client-less thing, i don't know how bots work. Ive never had a reason to want to know, so i have a lack of knowledge in the area, so i didn't think about the whole client-less thing. Thanks for clearing that up.

they use clientless bot programs which can run like 50+ characters at a time, so they probably only have 1 comp running for sro

Hey, I'm not understanding why this isn't illegal but using a program to multiclient IS illegal?
If I were to post a program that does nothing but multiclient your sro I'd probably get banned. These forums are weird. :p

Client Less Runs anywhere from 75-150clients per PC and thats on a high end internet conection. Softmod can run anywhere from 2-10clients.
Ohh and this method isnt working for me.

it might work if you load the one game for stalling on one user, switch user and log in to windows, than load the game with bot program, than it might load b/c the bot program doesnt load gameguard (as far as i know) and this would prevent the gameguard error, but it seems risky b/c gameguard is running on ur comp along side ur bot program...so if you are doing this you might want to reconsider

thats kinda surprising, but i guess the bot program emulates gameguard i think, so the other gameguard would pick it up i guess

You dont have to buy a bot to be able to use the finger. And thats a no. I hand grinded one level 80 and powerleveld the rest of my chars to 70+ in 4-5 weeks.
And I dont htink the Error has anythign to do with Gameguard, as SRO doesnt even use Game Guard, they never renewed their liscence to use it. They just have the GG logo and a "load" screen. Im not sure what the error could be tho.

Did you try 2x bot?
Also, you don't have to buy a bot period. There are free alternatives.

To express this as an equation for those who perhaps don't understand what this person is talking about. 1 PC = 2 PC
