how do i use monster mask?

i have monster mask level one.
First i kill the level 1 monster outside of euro first town...
Then i use the skill but i don't get any kind of mask inside my inventory.
i want to ask
Is there a chance that skill may fail?
Did i use the skill wrong

when you use the skill I believe you have 2 pick the mask on the ground I mite be wrong though I'm not 100% I remember my friend talking about masks a while back...hope this helped.

when u use the skill, a mask appears on the ground.
but u can only use after u kill the mob i think.

kill a mob , right after itz dead use the mask skill quickly.
then u pick it up, if ur in a auto item share party be sure ur party members didnt get it.
double click on it.
