is there a guide for pvp. i just started last week. the silkroad website is blocked here at work and i cant look there. i know that pvp starts at lvl 20.
are there any restrictions?

example
like cant attack someone 10 lvls below me or something.

the main reason i ask is i read something about people deleveling and keeping skills. i really dont see much use of this besides showing off, unless there are restrictions, then i could see more uses.

i would like good details on pvp if anyone has a guide that would be great.
the search function doesnt return anything like im looking for.

thanks

No rules, if you put on a cape and go out of safe area.....
Everyone decides his own, who to attack and when.

I don't have a guide but I can tell you what I know.

*You can't delvl in pvp. It does not effect your exp or sp in any way. When you die it is similar to when you were low lvl - you get the option to res on the spot or in town.

*You can attach anyone with a cape on (restrictions on some color capes so just buy orange). This may lead to you being killed MANY times by a higher lvl if they are just in the mood to be jerks so if you are low lvl it is a good idea to only pvp right out side of town and be nice. Taunting will lead to getting killed everytime you res on spot.

*ppl lie about there lvls so learn armor and weapon lvls if you don't want to get one hit killed.

*Other than that the only rules are what you and the other peson decide on. Some higher lvls will agree not to use some skills just to make it even. Some ppl think you should turn auto pot off. most of the time it is just a free for all.

Half the time I pvp outside the city, I can't even tell who hit me! lol It is alot of fun but be prepaired to die ALOT at lower lvl. The higher lvls just stand around killing everyone caped up in sight when they get bored.

Well that is all I know, not much but hope it helps a little.

If you murder, you get murderer status, which gives you murder points, you can kill stuff to work them off, or die and lose a lot at a time, but dieing in murder status lose a lot more exp, and some sp, also a higher chance to drop items.

And you can be pkd with a cape on just like any other time, the only diff is nothing will happen to those who also have one, but still murderer for those that don't

i wear a cape "or dont" and pk someone without a cape, i get the murder status and i lose exp and sp and maybe gear if i get killed with murder status.

You don't have the option to return to town when you die. Otherwise it'll be a free teleport, lol.
