suicidegirl admited himself that he "naively trusted a link" and prolly got keylogged.

of course, can never be 100% sure he did get keylogged.

Exactly, you never know exactly where it might come from, but you can only assume it MIGHT happen. To start trashing on someone who is trying to help you protect yourself is just plain stupid. You dont want to protect your account? Great... But stop making it sound like people who do are stupid when it's actually the other way around.

Well what can I put to this topic:

-Have 3 account.
-Lost 1 account.
-Took 2 account.

Now I had to make a ton of new email addresses.

JM. security on it's best side : Failed.

New site is full with exploitable bugs.

Will see how many ppl lose accounts and how many gaining those.

It kinda explains why some go murder everyone.
And why others cleaning murderer status.

this maybe the same old "but my guild mate lost his account!" BS but it's really true. in fact that guild mate of mine knows my password. he quit for 2 months, he was teh guild master with tons of stuff. then i suddenly became the guild master on his second month of absence. guild storage is clean, no fishy stuff, everyone in my guild still intact. but after another month, he tried to log in, and he can't. he simply cannot log in anymore. he never shared his password, not even to me FFS. lost both account and interest in the game.

i think this should not be taken lightly, no matter what your opinion on JM's account security. people cry when JM does not show any "cust service", but when they do, people turn and go "lol"-ing everywhere.

I hate to say it, but most of the so called hackings going on are from key loggers. The lv80's are getting hacked because their bot was a fraud.

It's only been brought to light because the hackers realised instead of cleaning accounts, whilst people havn't validated their emails the accoutns are up for grabs. So they would probably be doing as much as they can to get their hands on some accounts. As such, the guys that have been hacked are winging more than usual and it's now reached the SRF boards.

If the database was hacked, we'd be in way more serious trouble =].

Still, go validate your emails XD.
