On topic, I'm a blader. Bladers pwn. We need more bladers. End transmission.

a Pure STR blader is the slowest lvling build out of all the main builds. Thats from personal experience.....

other builds will get better too you know...

it is all dependent on the pot system. every build will rise and fall with the pots. only reason that glaviers and bowers are liveing though those 10xxx nukes is cause they can pot it up but as cap increase and no new pot is introduce it gets harder and harder to repot that damage as fast as possible before that next hit. so as Fly said even a bladers constant flip and stab stab stab stab (assuming blader has new stab) can outdamage the amount a character can pot back up. If people want to make bladers they should just do it who cares what everyone seen in ksro or what they say. I surely will have a blader before I quit SRO.

Take some facts from an actual blader and not some loudmouth with an avatar featuring snoop dogg having a seizure...

Bladers hit low, but hit more in 1 skill. It might not be the fastest, but it does basically the same damage as a glaive or bow when you add it up.

They can level fast if you know how to use them. Try to find things that you can kill with 1 soul cut + 1 chain. Get a blade with good stats and a nice shield, youll do fine.

They sure as hell look nice

Personally, I dont have a problem killing people in PVP, even before the euro update. At the lower levels youll have some trouble, but once you get some knock-downs and stabs youll be ok. At level 73, you get lightning chain which helps a lot... and if you plan on playing another 1-1.5 years, the 100cap will favor bladers more than anything.

Negative: You cant use your knock downs in parties or jobs if your other teamates dont have swords or blades... it makes it so they cant attack and its not very helpful.

Negative: You wont get very many unique kills.

Negative: Its a bit more expensive since you have to buy a weapon AND a shield.



Simply put, theyre a good build especially if you dont like to die. People saying they cant kill got no skill (oh yeah, bustin' rhymes like snoop dogg!)

s/s int hybrid is better than blader , at least u can kill with a s/s

btw all the bladers think about the badass skills ther gona get at 100 cap, but they havnt really put ther mind into the badass skills bowers and glaives are gona get

100 cap = new chain....with all the status error skills, the quad stab and the new chain (which also stuns), along with the shield reduce skill that raises phys attack, bladers will be very strong. Also, i hear pots don't get updated to next size till lvl 110....so you want to have tanking ability. I think that you need skill to lvl bladers fast, as well as to pvp. I do feel, that if you work your skills properly (at this cap) you can take out just about any INT, as well as archers (as long as they dont ghost away too much), and on occasion a glaive (if you get a few lucky hits).

my blader is 68, pure strength, fire and light at 65 and biheon at 68 with only heaven chain and double stab upgraded beyond 65.

my gear has less then a third of max blues strength wise, less for other stuff and nothing is above +3 the blade is +5, crit 8 and a phys attack of about 60%, the shield is block 17.

i was pvping today, and I killed a 72 glavier.

we were fighting for a good couple of minutes, without interferance, and only once the glavier got my health below half, due to a stun and crit.

bladers are the best tankers, they have increased defence due to buffs and the shield and they have a good chance of blocking hits. ideal for the type of gamer who lieks to be on the front line at war but doesnt expect glory.

though with skill, you can kill anyone

bladers are extinct because due to lack of skills from before come new skills and cap be prepared to see more bladers

WAR-LVL 57 Blader Force Fire Light Noone 55-63 can kill him..lol as a matter of fact he has killed lvl 64 bladers/glaviers/nukers
Death-LVL 56 Glavie-blade Light Ice-6.6k hp 6.8k mp... with mana shield/castle shield/spinning fan series/ ice/light imbue its damn near impossible to kill me unless the person is at least 5 lvls higher..lol

Oh and we grind on shakrams, edimmus, PEG.. so your little sentence about not killing anything your lvl is kinda, um how can you say it....wrong

Hate to burst your bubble but the best tanker is 1h euro. Maybe you meant the best solo tanker?

Why do ppl say that bladers lvl the slowest???
At lvl 56 my lvling is almost as fast as my friends pure int o.o
I use snake sword dance and the 1st light nuke 2 get mobs... use 2nd kd and keep on moving on...its helped me lvl alot faster :p

If you goin 2 make a blader. use bow 2 lvl up. is not that slow. my next build is goin 2 be bow+blade+fire i want 2 see who can kill me and with bow i be a pure str nuker!!!!! with blade and shield i can knock down stab 2 heal..

I don't know... do you think it'll be 2 good? I think you might be using it 2 much and might need 2 start spelling 2 instead of using the number 2 for all your sentences. Just some friendly advice from me 2 you.

Have heard about new skill??Lv 20,40,60,80,100 skills which increase phy dmg and reduce shield def. Lv 20 skill gives 23 phy atc more and reduce 19% shield def, Lv 100 skill increases 133 phy dmg and reduces shield def 83%, dunno the others. Lvl 100 blader combo skill gives Fear, stun and something more, I cant remember. And yea blader can quad stab with lvl 90+68(69?)stabs. And i also havent hear anything about new and larger potions. I am lvl 54 blader atm, and i can lvl faster than some n00b glavier bec I range and AoE a lot. Also is get in almost every yeti party.

but it is still all dependent on the pots at that cap. if were still useing that 800 hp pot, even if a bower gets new skill or glavier gets new skill, a bower and glaviers skills take time to cast, a kd from a blader could cancel it in seconds. and they would have 2 flips to play with by then. The old kd and a new kd.

I want to try s/s too, but how often do they die? Do they hit high enough to kill mobs before they can kill you?

Bladers look good and they have nice skills and stuff but they cant kill shit and thats the truth, all bladers now it but they dont want to admit it. Besides s/s can also use all the bicheon skills, so just make an int s/s and with mana shield at 50% you can tank anything including sosun

edit: But they can tank anything they are VERY VERY VERY VERY hard to kill. When you have +5 set as a blader you will be like immortal so dont think im one of those blader haters

your just setting yourself up to get flamed. I see you have not yet fought a full buffed lvl80 warrior.

bladers are made to play not made to tank ... idiots and glavie and bow are made to play. all of them are playing tools.

trust me.. when you have comed to lvl 80 with your blader, you gonna think the time of leveling was worth it...

Everyone loves the blade moves.

I'm not sure about hybrid builds, but try doing an hybrid blader, so you still tank very well and you'll also do a fine damage.
