My current naked magical balance is 88%, if I were to go pure int till lvl 80 i'd be able to reach 91%, only 5% off from pure int. Now i'm planning to switch to s/s from spear and i'm wondering if I should stay hybrid with s/s or add all int to 80. Would 5% less balance make much of a difference?

if ur going s/s. i would say defintly add all int from here on out. Shield as well as ice will make up for ur slight lack in hp, but u need all the int you can get to have decent nukes

There's a very good hybrid int s/s guide on this forum. I suggest you read it. A hybrid s/s ain't bad ...It has is pro's and cons and it depends on your playing style...

I used to have a hybrid s/s and I can tell you a few things I learned:
70~77% much too low, that was my original plan and I couldn't grind or pvp, kinda obvious to most people but I'm weird

77-85% enjoyed it for a s/s, I can understand around 80~85% for s/s so you can still tank a bit especially now and I killed things alright, but gear discrepancies kind of suck

85%+ You have that couple k more health to save you from critical and other pure ints, also liked this one but really around 82%+ I found to be okay for playing. Lower than that is spear territory and s/s just doesn't have the firepower.
