Hey loves..it's Meow.
I missed being on here with you guys..
The last couple of months have been so hectic for me, so that's why I've haven't been on here lately..My friend that I've known ever since 6th grade passed away yesterday from gunshots to the chest and head..( http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/102407dnmetbodyintrunk.2c8781b.html)
My computer is infected with trojan horses and viruses so that's why I'm using this account. I need help on trying to fix this error everytime i start the computer, there's a popup that say's
"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably. The registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the registry."
If anyone knows a way to fix this (cause i don't know how) can you please help? Thanks.
 's to everyone!
-Meow

welcome back
and use virus scanners to kill your virus. As a last resort, re install microsoft xp (or whatever software program you are using)
and I feel sorry for your friend

MEOWWWWW!
missed ya!
sorry to hear from your friend hope you are allright.
if your computer is farked up, format it and reinstall all your things. make a
backup from your documents or put em on a different partition, then format
C. if you are very afraid for the trojans n whatevers on there, startup in safe
mode (i think thats when you hold down the DEL button at startup. F2 or F8
for the boot menu's most of the times).
hope you get your pc up and running again soon
(still love that sig deep.in made ya )

the fault is registry shit. last 2 times i got errors in my register, formatting
WAS the only option.. or using some crap free registry cleaner which helped
for the first couple of days.
i format every 1,5-2 months. all my important data is on a different partition
and on my external disks. i love to format often cause everytime i do it, my
laptop is fast as hell again... oh and because formatting takes about as long
as most virus scanners / registry cleaners take to scan, and then at least im
sure ALL shit is off my c drive.

Ive manually had to fix the registry after a virus attacked it before. took me 5 hours. Was faster than backing up/formatting/re-installing everything/putting files back. I still format every now and then but it just seems people now will format over errors as small as making a spelling mistake in word. Anywho, hi-jacking thread here, sorry

Meow!!! <3<3<3
I'm so sorry to hear... But times will get better, I assure you
Hmmm, for your error, I'd say upon startup hit f12 or whatever, if I remember correctly it takes you to a place which lets you delete files and stuff... It might only be on my computer though, 'cause this piece of crap is really old.
If you know what files you should and shouldn't have, you can delete the viruses. If you don't know, there's an option which lets you remove "launch on startup" items, which includes viruses and stuff.
If your computer isn't that great though, you should just buy a new one.

Welcome back
Anyways you should just reinstall windows... it usually takes less time than virus scans to install windows/drivers/restart a couple of times

Anywho, welcome back, but why the new account? i dont get it. you can still use the old one, its not linked to your computer or anything.
I'm afraid someone can hack into my comp or w/e. I don't want to get keylogged :/
Thanks everyone with the warm welcome back =') You all are too kind and sweet this is the reason why i love this forums so much You people are awesome
Well anyway, I don't know if i should restore the system or reformat because I heard it's bad to reformat or something..I've tried avast! with the viruses, i THINK i got rid of them..i hope i did. Btw, I had viruses that were called " Win32:Trojan-gen {UPX} and Win32:Rbot-ETL [Trj]". I think the viruses are taken care of, but when i restarted my computer the
"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this
error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If
this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably.
The registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that
contain the system's image of the registry."
still pops up..I've tried repairing the registry but it's still screwed..blah
Is putting in the windows cd and clicking on repair a good idea?
