Finally they give the winner list for the screen contest ( http://contest.mmosite.com/screenshots/sro/ ). Congrats to Nightbloom and Manowar that got 15k SP each ^^. I was particiapating too but I was eliminated and I dont know why =(.

I have noticed taht it is the popular people that win these things... When there are lower lvl people that really did have good screenshots. But thats just my thought.

....they are popularity contests, you can easily get 30 union friends to vote for you, and you can vote for them and up having 30 people from 1 union/ guild win everything. Make them each comment something to add to the validity of the votes and you got yourself a prize. If you noticed, the first place winners didn't get that many votes, way too many screenshots were posted to make this contest anything except popularity based.

Gratz on getting some prizes out of it, if you actually got your friends to vote for you at least you tried enough to deserve it.

That contest was a joke. Two of the winners in the Love category had photoshopped pics, they were supposed to be unaltered. And yeah, a lot of people cheated madly. Oh well.

That contest was doomed from the start. Tbh all the shitty pics came 1st / 2nd / 3rd. Hell even the admin of the site 'won'.

I can tell that 99.99999 % of the people who entered the Comic strips were people that finished elementary English or really retarded young girls.

Look.. I understand them using the voting to get the top ten or whatever. That makes sense. I dont even care that some people may have cheated in the voting department. MMOSite could hardly do much about that.

But after they get the top ten, how hard is it to weed out the ones that didnt even follow the rules? Why bother with rules if you arent even using them to determine a winner? I mean there were like 10 categories, it's not like it wouldnt take someone an hour or so to look at the screens and weed out the ones who werent even following the rules.

It was poorly administrated and poorly run. I expected MMOSite to have at least a perfunctory handle on the situation.

And Im not bitching Crump dear, Im expressing my opinion just like you are. I didnt even know I won anything till I read this topic.

The only good thing I ever got outta the MMOSite is Khaara. lol

lol mmosite is just one stupid site... its' connection is bad overall... and most of the times give me errors... my friends are having same problem too. Apparently JM's non-in-game events are horrible.
