Don't they celebrate Chusok?
If they do, Chusok takes place in August. This could explain the fact why America's version (halloween) is not as important. Since our's to them is late.

The event could be a couple of things that could be included with the new silk items. Like DarkJackal said it could be a jewel box event. It could also be that pumpkin thing event that ksro got a year ago where you find a pumpkin monster thats located randomly around the map. Or the "event" is solely just to add the new silk items.
Also I wonder if anyone remembers our past jewelry box events, but does anyone remember if the boxes drop on mobs that were over 20 levels lower than you?

When i was doing the so-ok easter event where we had to pick up eggs, i found the fastest way to acquire the eggs was grinding on green mobs. I'm not sure about the 20 levels below you thing, but it appeared to me that with a faster rate of kill in green mobs, i got more eggs. Hope that helps :/

I did the same thing since I was around lvl 58 for the thanksgiving event and I was grinding penons since they were green for me. I'm just curious on the 20 levels below thing because if they do another jewelry box style event I'll be done with farming and I most likely won't grind in the typical grind areas. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

If it is true, then we would see a bunch of high lvl people flooding at ongs, No one would have a chance in hell of competing with someone who did it.
