Because as soon as lvl 90 comes out the 8th degree sun is underpowered. a SUN glavie +7 is the same thing as a 80+6 which people will have +7's in the first couple of days of 9th degree coming out, the only Sun items that might be good for a while is the chest or legs, since a SUN chest +5 is the same as a lvl 89 chest, or a 81+8, and as soon as 9th degree sun starts dropping Whoaaaaaaaaaa.
