I think that Joymax should enable it so that you can sell accounts for paypal cash or whatever... even though it would be hard for them to set up... but think about it... people could buy accounts from them and people could sell accounts and make like 80% of the money with joymax making the other 20% since eBay doesn't allow selling accounts now...

Or at least allow people to sell them at their own risk... Because I mean... I have a lvl 48 pure str bow, and a lvl 45 pure int sword/shield I don't need... and what am I spoused to do with them?

Anyways... Selling online items should be allowed on eBay... I mean you earned it... so whats wrong with it?

I think I will open a site that will allow you to sell accounts safely, except you have to pay a certain %'s for when it sells... And all the accounts and everything would be posted with name pictures and everything... anyways... what do you guys think about sellin' accounts!? :D

it would be hard to do but that would be awesome

but it would be pretty much impossible to do

cause i have so manyy acounts lvl 40 + just sitting around doin nothing because ive moved on
if i could sell them thats a easy 300 $s or so

if they did do that the easiest way would be to sell it naked
so 4 each lvl its like a certain amount and u just buy the build that u want . ie glavie, bow, blade etc

its a good idea but its pretty much impossible to do with 100% security unless joymax did it 4 u
:banghead:

So, in an evil twist of fate, you are basically saying Joymax should accept scammers/ botters who create accounts just for cash. I don't know any right minded person who would accept that. But then again, we are talking about an already corrupt community.

In the end, it'll just tempt an even larger increase of more bots.

Until JM allows the selling/purchasing of ingame items including charachters and accounts, theres really not much to discuss here. Why not have a think about why they disallowed it in the first place, and why ebay is prohibiting it.

1 of the main reasons ebay doesnt like being a host for accs to be sold is because ppl blame them if they dnot get what they payed for

but joymax has all the information it needs * secret answer etc*
all u would have to do is tell them that ur intrested in selling your acc * naked or not* and they go through and price everything according

^ that would be the ultimate thingy giggdy

but i agree with osama
it would increase the bots 1000x because people would bot the acc sell it start again and so on and so forth

its a good idea but it wouldnt work ><

It's a terrible idea, seriously your 6x and you think up such a pointless idea?

Whats the point of playing the game if you just buy a lvl 80 account? The purpose of the game is to lvl up yourself, not let someone else do the hard work

You think bots are bad now? Imagine the new species of bot "account selling bots". They'd lvl up asap then be sold, and then we would have more spam bots to advertise their sites as well.

Stupid idea.

I couldn't agree more. People will just go out and multi-client to bot up 20-40 bots at a time to lvl 80 and sell them.

And we thought gold bots were bad...

It will never happen.

To the original poster: What confusion of ideas could possibly have lead you to believe that Joymax would actually want to do this? Gold bots create enough of a problem. This would just make it worse.

Well of course a lot of people would. I wouldn't. I still think it's a horrible idea. It would destroy this game even MORE than it already is.

People complain enough as it is about how hard it is to log in, how hard it is to grind with 2,000 KSing gold bots around you, how "necessary" it is to bot your character because you can't hand grind with all the KSing gold bots...

And now you want Joymax to allow even more bots? Joymax will never make it legal for us to sell their intellectual property.

I hear a lot of people saying "no," because it would increase the bots...

Almost on every guild in every server there is a botter... usually 7/10 people have botted before. The weird thing is not, I see people going around servers saying they bot... and at one point I saw someone selling iSRObot cards... Now what is joymax doing? Either way... selling accounts will get done, with or without Joymax's permission. I just thought that it would be a good way for them to raise money, along with you getting some money too...

Like right now I have a lvl 48 Pure Str Bow I am selling and a lvl 45 Pure Int I am selling... Joymax's doesn't know the e-mail of the accounts, the names, or anything... so they can't bann it...

Because anyone could post a picture of someone selling a random account... and they would bann that... Anyways, I think that they should allow it... because with or without their permission it will happen... and as far as a buisness goes on selling accounts, it already is happening... I see a few sites starting to allow it...

Alright this is the situation... If Joymax made selling accounts legal, that 7/10 people botting (nice facts) would turn into 9/10 botting and the 1/10 left would be all the level 80s that people bought. Sooner or later with so many people botting level 80s will costs about $50 to buy and the game will be ruined.

Nice try though.

So just because people are doing it anyway, Joymax should make it legal? Should Microsoft make it legal for you and I to sell Windows XP and Vista licenses (without being an OEM)? People do it all the time....

What do you mean Joymax doesn't know the email accounts of the str bow and int that you're selling (btw account selling is prohibited on these forums)? When you register the accounts on Joymax's servers, of course they have a record of the email you used. They might not be able to link it to you, and instead ban the account when some poor soul buys it from you.... and that is one good reason to not allow it, otherwise people would sell accounts, collect their cash, then chargeback-ban the account... all legally. :/

Joymax isn't going to allow us to sell their intellectual property. We do not own the accounts and cannot sell them.

True... but why don't they get a little more extreme on the botters? I mean if joymax was better at banning the botters... then the only people selling the accounts would be real people...

And eBay doesn't care anymore... And also how am I getting scammed out of my money?

Because the botters make money from making their bots, Joymax loses money by trying to beat botters programs and scripts, and sell less premium memberships which again is a negative for Joymax.

Botters always find their way around things, yes Joymax can ban them but then since it is a free game they just make new accounts.
