Ok so here it goes. Im fairly new to SRO, i signed up about 2 weeks ago. I was training my lvl 30 glaver when all of a sudden this mage comes up and starts using his freeze move on me. I try to just move away but he just chased me (wasn't hard to do seeing as i was frozen). Anyway now to the problem. Somehow his freeze move missed me and this made his name purple and I was able to attack him. I hit him with my 1st attack, that stunned him, then i finished him off with a combo attack. Only problem was is that just before the last swing of my combo his name turned back from purple to white and the attack killed him. Hence i accidentally became a murderer.

I ran back into town as quickly as i could and put all my gear and money in the storage (i had killed murderers before and knew what would happen if I were killed). I have about 350 SP saved up for next level for my next mastery and skill and I have heard that you can lose those points if you murder someone.

What I need to know is. How do I get rid of my murderer status and not loose my SP? Is there any way I can just wait it out? Please help it will be much appreciated.

Find a place to grind in secret and get rid of your murder points, or just go and let people kill you while all your stuff is in storage, you'll lose xp and sp but it'll be faster

you can try to grind it off by fighting monsters but someone will probably kill you

better to die than risk items drop while grinding
plus its like 10% so it isnt too much

I'd advise using all of your sp and making a mad dash to a deserted place to grind off the murder points.

You can either kill a bunch of monsters or get killed over and over until the points go away. Keep in mind that if you're in town, you will start to lose health. When you die each time, you will lose some SP...

Who told you losing SP results from murder?

Because that's a lie.

exactly how much sp will i lose because i have about 50 sp to spare. also, if i wait until after the server check will the status go away?

[edit]: also the two people who replied before you said i would lose sp.

You will loose all of it.

I recommend donating it to your guild.

Unless I'm mistaken, you do lose SP when you die when under murder status.

Keep in mind I haven't really played that much since 70 cap

Maybe the loss is just that insignificant?
