Hi im a 2 handed warrior, and im going to be 80 next weekend, im just thinking if Robe would be better instead of Heavy armor, because im gonna take cleric to 80, and im just curius, would it be better? Or a third option should i take Light armor?

i just learnt yesterday that being in light armor for a cleric does him good...

yea, but i do great against bowers and phy mercs, but magic mercs and nukers hit me hard. a lvl 60 nuker can hit me for 3k even though i have full +4/+5 gear

get a set of each?

i would go robe. u already have the physical defense why lack in magic defense

off topic what does tbh mean, and for that matter afaik, these too things have been spelled out so many times and i can't tell what hey mean

hmm ya armor looks coolest and best against rogues and other warriors, how ever chinese and any magic dealing charectors you are going to be worse against. take your pick. can't decide go light

Because nukers die faster too, especially from a Euro.

You will need physical tanking ability to survive a battle against a blader / glaiver with a good set.

Go for light armor, for the time being. If you find a good robe set, then switch to robe.

I would go light armor ^^. btw 10 degree light armor set looks amazing xD (female)

if you're doing this for pvp I'd go robe,
At 80 you can 1 hit with DD and all but I'm guessing you're worried about npc ints, specially if a full sun bladers using em ^^.


LAs decent too though (what i use) , if you ever get into a real bad situation you always have your 90 seconds of immortality. bless n skin ^^

btw what were you wearing when you took that ss vapore? (on your chara..)

and honestly the what to wear delima has hit me too, but i guess just go with what ever type of clothing vs the type of things you grind on are, magic or melee,

Well i quess you are right, so far im doing great with Heavy armor, and yea my phy defence is about 1054 and mag defence about 964, remember im not lvl 80, and i dont have 4/5 int and str on all pieces, because i can gain extra mag defence with extra int, so maybe i should just stick to Heavy armor.

Euro is very similar to Chinese with Armor.

As long as you have the money for blues and +ing then go Robes. Armor is really just for low lvls and ppl who can not afford to cap there gear half the time or pros who think they know better.

Most ppl wear Protector/Light or Robe/Garment.

holding 2h sword in robe will be quite unique

No buffs, but I am a 1H Sword warrior so...

You can imposibly wear heavy armor, because your physical defence should be higher than your magical, you must wear another type of equipment

I wear robes, I can tank the best of both nukers and physical builds such as bows, glaivies and bladers no problem, wearing armor would limit me way too much.

depends on your build but garment/robe is the best for all builds (for grinding)

As a warrior you have to be full str, so thats what i am

read the clerics passives (the ones that increase mag and phy defenses), for those, you need to wear light armor. Robe is useless for mag defense if you have that amazing passive by wearing light armor.

Go Robes. Once you are 80 other str characters wont be your issue. But a chinese s/s hybrid int running around with 50% mana shield is going to mop the floor with you if your wearing a set of trash cans.

seen 74 2 handers dish 12+k crits to 80s

I find 2h sword builds quite funny though, since you may consider a 12k crit pretty big, but its slow and cumbersome, I would agree that Dare Devil pretty much speaks for itself that it is deadly, if you manage to land the 2 hits, but if you know how to use a 1h sword to its fullest, then your cunning stab will outdamage maddening and possibly even daredevil, with the added advantage of your defense and quick attacks, heck I've done stabs damage in 4 hits of 4k > 2k > 2k > 4k, not only is that 12k non crit, but you have a great chance to crit too. So this is why I find 2h sword builds a tad underwhelming.

Heavy armor. You can kill nukers in the time your mana skin is up (that's the magical defence thing, right?)
It takes longer to kill physical dudes.
So yeah, armor.
