I currently have a lvl 32 70:70 bow build, and im going to farm alot of sp with a 9 gap. Im wondering if I should get nukes, Just the lightning ones, because I dont wanna get bored doing just bow moves all the time.

So do you guys think they will be to weak, or wat? I usually see nukers at around lvl 30 doing like 1500 damage in pvp. How much u think I would be able to hit? Also I want to know this is because I need to know how much sp to farm. Thankyou, for any help you guys give.

What is the appeal of 70:70 bow anyways?
If I had to guess though, I'd say you can get it, it's not necessary though.

i'm not a bow expert but i would say why 70/70 why not 80/60 or 90/50, dont bow usually need a little extra hp if you plan on pvping or jobbing, and with 70% your nuke will be half of what a pure int's would be, so not really worth it, plus I dont think a bow has a high mag attack either.

well its 70:70.. w/o gear... So prob with the str and int bonuses from gear itll be 80:80...

I'm 70:70 and I use nukes for fun, but I also carry a good spear with me for a little extra mag attack power. Sometimes when I'm out plvling a lowbie it's actually better because light nuke w/light imbue can be more effective vs many low lvl mobs than light imbue is with any of the bow skills.

Your nukes will never really be anywhere near as impressive as a pure int spear, but they'll do some respectable damage to mobs.

*Edit* And going way off topic here... consider a 7-gap.

I'm 70:70 naked, 83:93 in gear.

70:70 will do about the same dmg with nukes as they do with weapon skills only nukes can't crit so i dont think you should learn them unless its just for fun

Anyway, I am lvl 43 70:70 bow and its really fun. naked im 70:70 and with equips im 77:79.I got fire nuke and i think its awesome.My anti devil does around 1400 and my nuke does around 1700.Its useful somtimes but i wouldn't level it to the max =). Good luck

But being a 70:70, crits aren't the end-all be-all... but you're right, they are "just for fun". Luckily, he can get the "Curst Hearts" quest and remove them if he decides they're not necessary.

So.. y 7gap? Also I am farming... So I guess I could spend an extra 2-3 days to get enough sp for the nukes. If they arent that strong in pvp, they will still come in handy with fighting lower lvl mobs and such stuff to.

Well nukes can help when all your other skills are recharging because you dont want to use AOE ones will just attract more mobs.

Examples are giants they take a bit more time to kill and you dont want too much monsters attacking you or you will die.

Everything I have on is Str 3-4 and Int 3-4. I don't think I have a 2 on anything. I spend more time buying/selling things to pay for good gear than I do grinding, which is why 9 months in, I'm lvl 43. =-)

Why 7 gap? Because 8-9 gap is like shoveling XP into the fire to get more SP. I switched from 8 gap to 7 and got way more xp for a minimal loss in SP. If you purposefully are trying NOT to level up, then 8-9 gap it... but if you hope to get loads of SP and still make respectable progress in leveling, then do 7. Maybe my experience is different because of my premium ticket + skill ticket, but I've come to love the 7-gap.

Well I was expecting to get plvled or powerfarmed... so I could get like 100k+sp in like 2-3 weeks. This way.. after that I can 0 gap.. to a high lvl in like no time at all, because I dont have to worry about saving sp.

If you're pfarming, definitely do a 9-gap cuz you usually don't want to level... you want to stay 11 levels below the mobs you're farming at. If you're hand-grinding, then I suggest 7-gap. =-)

Should I get Autumn wind, or watever that moves called, or mind bow? Im not sure if those are moves worth getting, and do u have them? Do they come in handy?

I rarely use them unless I'm plvling someone. Or I'm trying to aggro something off my pet.

*Edit* actually, now that I have book 2 for Autumn, I'm starting to use it.

the light nuke is effective for hunting and grinding, but i dont use it in pvp. doesnt make enough damage. devil arrows is stronger with about the same cast time

i have a 80:60 bow lv 40. For me, the fire nuke has a similar damage as anti devil. So it up to you to get lightning nuke. It would probably do more damage or almost the same as your bow skills.(Except for strong bow)

90:50 is quite good. I used to kill glaiver, nuker @ lvl 4x with a bow+3 crit 8 only. But dont know how it will work at later lvl hehe

hybrid = bow/nuker

bow mastery. physical damage
light mastery. nukes/ speed/ magical damage bonus
fire mastery. nukes/ physical damage bonus / magical defense
cold mastery. snow shield.

Now when 90cap comes.

Pick 3 of the 4. Your character will suck. As well as all hybrids.

you already have lower HP, do less physical damage (bow relies on critical damage which you have NERFED due to low str). Your nukes are weak because bow is weak and your INT is low.

Agree with this one. Go too much hybrid and you're screwed for 90 cap. Hell even 70:70 bows suck at this cap.

There was a 70/70 bower on Alps and He was probably the best bower on alps..Until he got hacked

I'm currently lvl 42 with 7 gap (full str bow with fire, lightning only for grasswalk) and doing some farming.
I'm not a dedicated farmer so to have some variety one evening I'm hunting ultra blood thingies, the other night I'm doing some EURO quests (the ones involving huns, golems and susunngsomething. Thus I'm lagging behind SP wise. The fact is that I'm not at all satisfied with SP per kill I get. Am I doing something wrong?

Soooooo the question is where to farm at lvl 42 with a 7 gap without constantly looking around if there are some spiders creeping up (I HATE SPIDERS) and thus having a relaxing evening with farming ánd good SP.
