Well for the first 1 1/2 years of my playing silkroad, i have used my desktop, which is a 2000 dell with a 32 mb graphics card. now i still use this computer but i also use a 2002 dell laptop with a 16mp graphics card. now im fine while trainin but in town its brutal. same with theifin or TP (takes me 2 min to cross farry, about 8min to get in town). so i was wonderin what kind of graphics card do u guys use, and what is ur avg frame rate? mine is about 13fps.
Also here are my specs, since i updated the thread.
Desktop:
1.4ghz processor, p4
32mb gefore2 MX/MX 400
512mb of ram
Laptop:
1.6ghz processor, p4
16mb graphics card (ATI Radion Mobility 7500)
512 mb of ram
Both Run Windows XP Pro 32bit

7600GT its not really the graphics card that makes it run smooth its the ram

First played sro on a 128 mb 5200 fx but my friend fried it
then my 128 mb 6600gt
then the poor thing fried and I fell back to my 64mb 440mx lol
still play it with that untill I have the money to get a new set
if you only play sro you would do fine (depending on your system specs) with a 128 mb 5x geforce, those are pretty cheap nowdays and sro runs good on it.
