Ok ... I got in fight with friend what is better ....
We got
Cleric: Recovery Divison , Holy Word , Bless , Healing Cycle / Orbit
Bard: Noise and Moving March

My friend thinks that Cleric is better ...
I think that Bard is better and here is why :
1. No one can / will buy speed pots 0/24
2. Rogues are not ment to tank ... They get 2-3 hitted by anyone with DD/XE
3. Even if he puts bless ... that wont really much help him with DD/XE coz
it will have low defense anyway .... and again he will get few hitted

My opinion is that Rogues are ment to Hit and Run ...
Sneak , Hit , Kill and Run like Prick ...

And tell me is there reason to take Cleric subclass...
If Cleric subclass is better ... then that means that Bard subclass benefits no one ... I mean then that means that no one should take Bard as subclass? ...

Discuss Please
EDIT: Dont you say Bard - PvE , Cleric - PvP

There's already a big discussion here on the forum about this one. Basicly it comes down to how you like to play. Both subs are usefull. With cleric as a sub you'll be able to take on pt mobs and giants easier. With bard your gonna farm faster and if you take on a giant, you'll need to hit and run and then hit and run again...

Anyway, I might be doing something wrong (i'm Rogue/Cleric), but I think that with both subs you'll die about the same amount of times. (which means a lot in farming). If you get mobbed you'll have to flee, no matter if you have the cleric sub (unless you have a full sosun set). As a cleric it takes you about 3 more seconds to flee, cause you have to activate daggers and press scud. As a bard you can flee right away.

heh... you could always do 80 rogue/40cleric/40bard... (it was my plan anyways... well more like i stopped farming bard at 40 since i got tired lol)

thing i liked about bard more was even with cleric's recovery division, without using rod and having int you'll heal the bare minium so even in aggro area you'll be hit more than you recover... with noise you will be hit but by only mob you are currently fighting

not much use for bless for xbow in pve i think... bless is only useful when you have ce/dd off, and in that case you wont be able to kill pt mob or giant before bless if off and you'll end up running away but wont be able to get away... a trick i got with bard sub to make up for this is since xbow has 75% kb, i kb, switch to bard and bind then back to xbow and shoot. you could even use discord wave and have it always attacking pet

pvp though, bard doesnt offer too much if you gate fight... everyone is so close to the safezone that you can get there without speed... but in jobbing i prefer bard for fast attack and well... with rogue a fast attack gets 1st hit and mostly you'll win after that, and noise works on transport animal too so it safes traders from healing it as often

I think that cleric is the best because of the healing defense up and status immunity which helps in pve and pvp. Also, if i'm ever in trouble i just cast heavenly flash and run away heal up and then go back to the fight. With bard u get faster moving speed which help a ton in pve but with light armor u already move kinda fast and the dagger passive quick step increase moving speed by 10% at low lvls and 205 at lvl 60. Noise is good but if ur attacking a regular mob and a champ/ giant/ party mob spawns right next to u noise isnt gunna help u.

I play as xbow rouge, with cleric subclass. Right now im near 57 lvl (20% left), with cleric subclass. I grind on Karras, and with CE i got 4080 hp...
They hit me ~1,5-1,7k i have autopot set on 49% of hp.

after 2h of griding i used only 3 Medium HP potions, because recovery division heals me after fight. Holy Word reduce (with pills yet) Zombie status. Only 1 time i died on them with this subclass. On party i work as cleric - sometime is insane exp, and as full str you dont die too quickly so other party members can kill mobs that attack you. 3rd lvl of str buff and 2nd of int buff, 3 phy. def. buff and 1 mag. def. buff... thats is enought because you got bonus from Charity (6 int / 6str, not so big amount of defense too - on 6th lvl of Charity skill). And 3rd lvl of healing spells: Group Healing, Healing Division. 1st lvl of Group Recovery - and im sure that no1 die if you heal, and you will get party around each time.
