Sooner or later you run out. (Infinity would be needed to ban the bots.)

How many of you work in retail? And then tell your friend you work at Best Buy? What is the first thing they ask you? "Oh shit, can you hook me up with the discount"?
Give me a Farking break. Now that I am gone, I don't have to provide you with any information or services which would have been asked during the time of my employment. Then why even bother making the post in the first place if you werent going to even tell us anything, the reaoning of letting people know that you worked for JM is flawed if you would not then tell people anything about it... I can assume you did it therfore only for the attention that it would get you. While I personaly do not care that you worked there or that you were fired for what ever reason... I do care why customers are treated like shit by a company that for some reason has no morals what so ever... however I am not the complaining type as they are simply doing what any rational business would do in the same position. While people can say making the game bot free would bring in new customers... can you be sure of that... would those new customers buy the silk that the current botters do.. the answer is probably not. So while it sucks its a simple rational thing to do from their point of view. But getting back to the topic at hand.. while I have no doubt that you worked for JM, I do not see people so post on forums as GM's they are more customer relations than Game Masters.. thats why I dont realy see JM as having actual GM's I see them as having advanced customer relation officers who are stopped from doing their job because of the fact it would harm company interest. While GM's do seem to want to do well by the customes and complete their interestsd it seems like it is their bosses that are stopping them from doing so. So no hard feelings on my part... I just dont see the point of making this thread if all you were going to do is tell us you were fired.. you know that poeople would want to know things... so why bother making it if you werent going to tell them.. it seems rather silly. +1, He just wants attention, get some air, its toxic in San F. You can do us all a favor and maybe get lung cancer .

Thanks Pred. Youve really shown me something. Basically everyone that has read this you now have the truth. And with the truth you can pick between two logical decisions. You can bot without any retrobution whatsoever or quit. Pick one, the only thing you may loose is some money and if you boycott, try to do something that will affect the future, like joining a meetup group for this upcoming election. Personally, I recommend this group http://ronpaul.meetup.com/ Bot or Boycott. Why? He was MD He said he couldnt do shit He said Joymax doesnt want to do shit. And forum mods, dont ban anymore people for bot admissions or that stuff. JM wont do it so why should you? As for me, its bot. I can afford it, and fw and massive trs are fun! Btw Im in one of those meetups too

However, despite your seemingly logical argument, we will continue to ban bot-supporters (like yourself) so we can keep this community bot-free and clean to make us legits feel more at home. We totally deserve it.
Thanks for reporting this thread, it shall be taken care of.

Respect Pred, good luck in life.
Ammo, I hope you get a big fat banhammer in your face someday soon.
And like Cin said; ofcourse Pred can't go tell the community what happens behind the closed curtains of Joymax. They can sue him big time for leaking confidential information.
He can't take a standpoint in the whole 'Joymax works with goldcompanies' conspiracy because if he states something wrong Joymax can sue him.
If he tells negative things -based on confidential facts- about Joymax, resulting in people quitting the game, charging their money back, suing Joymax or anything related to these, Joymax can probably sue him.
So stop asking.

Sorry to see you go Brian. I enjoyed seeing your responses on the SRO forum (where I post as phaest). Thanx for everything you tried to do for us while you still cared. I'll have to consider my own position with regards to SRO; I haven't decided yet (altho I'm having great fun killing bots these days). I guess the one question, and I don't expect you to answer it (I know all about work contracts), I would like Joymax to answer is: Do you not ban bots because you don't want to or because you don't know how to do it without suffering massive chargeback? Say hi to Mary for me when you see her, and tell her thank you for all her hard work.

Btw, how DO people get a chargeback from Paypal? I tried it once after Pinokkio was hacked, but Paypal told me they don't offer support when it comes to the purchase of virtual goods, and refused to do a chargeback.

The problem as they stated it was that they can't verify disputes between two parties when it comes to virtual goods, so they can't perform a chargeback for it. Perhaps it has something to do with it being the Dutch branch of Paypal, but I would expect their policies to be the same in every country.

Or is your paypal linked to your bank account? If it's the latter, simply ring up your bank and as for all payments from XX-XX-07 - XX-XX-08 that went to Joymax to be refunded. Worked for me, all tho I did do it more than half a year ago. Rabobank btw.

meh....even if you are who you say you are its meaningless to tell everyone since you can't tell us anything vital or important besides vague cryptic responses...JM GMs don't really do anything for the community and have never had a major role in shaping how ppl play so your presence won't be missed by the players most of which have never seen a GM in person....ah well
im sure you did your best though and i can appreciate that even though i'll never know what it was....GL elsewhere....

saw this coming 2 years ago when iSRObot went public lol
it's a shame that such a GOOD game, is going to be in the gutter 90% of the time
the graphics in this game rock shit no joke, imo better then wow graphics by FAR
the pvp is awesome, its random and fun, and its a challenge with how many ppl have good and different variations of guilds, gear, and builds..
but still what a shame... kin see youn or w/e needs to grow some dumplings down there cuz thats just a dick move..
corporate wise, joymax is genius and props to them... lol but man, this game would still be fun just like it was when 4 servers out
btw, who were u on athens?
and gl man..

It's not important at this point in time, since I hacked my character back in October, but I was just curious as to how people managed to get a chargeback in the first place.
