I mean seriously, what the hell?? I would have expected it to be more like 650%-700%. The job system is not rewarding at all, that's why everyone bots and insults each other (because there is nothing better to do)

yeah con-jg / jg-cons is not really worth it...too long for what u get...could be fun as union trade run though but if u're alone or with 1/2 hunter go for short runs...

No matter how much more you get from any other trade, when you can do jg-dw in 20 mins or less with an ox, anything else just blows in comparison in terms of profit.

That's what you think. Here is what you don't understand.

Subtract pots/grass and other expenses (at level 80, NPCs are a brutal assault on the ox) from the revenue and what you are left over with is about 1.5 million. How much 1.5 million (considering how much time goes into such trade) is to a level 80? Keep in mind the huge risk involved. To you (level 34) it maybe a lot. To me, it is worthless. (It takes about 500K for me to fully pot for a grind session at the generals).

takes 30 to 45 min with a 5* on a elephant to run from consta > Jang. If they trader doesn't stop for anything. I think that makes enough profit..

think about it this way: there's a % limit on how much you gain

which is a one town limit, meaning you can only skip one city before hitting the cap, ex: Jg to Hotan, or, Cons to Hotan.

And when the other Islam cities come, I assume it will be the same, Bagdad (or what ever the starter city for Islam will be) to Hotan.

It actually makes sense if you think about it, Hotan is the center of the Silkroad after all

Better off finding a drop instead of trading. Trading = worthless. The profit is never worth it. At least what I always though and still think that.

mabe it has to do with u buying all the same stuff? i know years ago when i used to buy all of the same thing the price went down from dw to jan for that item, i did contin to samaka and got around 337% or something on a 4 star with mixed items, mabe u did something wrong

you can make some good gold with it now, think the runs between jangan and dw are low profit.
you would have earned more from Samarkand-Constantinople couple times.
doing the special goods trades can get you good quick gold if you have some good hunters with you.
hunters who are hardcore (4-6hours each day) probably earn the most gold.
jobs are also there to have some fun, if you want to earn gold then you should stall 24/7 is the only way to get rich.

Doesnt the Fortres War taxes effect that in Jangen?

Anyway, I hunted for a Jan-DW trade run and got about 2K xp each unit.
I then went from Sam-Cons and got 5K xp each unit.

I have always heard that Cons-Sama is the best route.

You guys test it and see.

Assuming the % difference between DW and Jangan (on a Const. to JG trip) is less than 20%.

I never trade or thief or even hunt. Im level 42 and tbh i cant be bothered waiting for the rare 2 star + trade runs..without a high level hunter. I have a grabber pet and i probably make about 1m gold in gold grabs and loot selling "to npc guys" every hour or 2. If i setup a stall i can offer more of course. But usually i earn about 3-4 mil a day.

Yesterday i made 45 mill, as i sold my sos +4 shield also. I got about 200 Mill in gear im using and will sell when i dont need it also.

well my friend did 1* on a horse from cons to jg and he made 800k which really isnt bad he is lvl 72 thou

lol idk i like trading. I'm a hunter but its fun when ur capped at 80 and nothin else to do. Plus you can help out your guild/uni and make some good money.

If you have the right hunters/traders that know what they're doing trading is WELL worth it. Always 4-5 star, anything else is a waste of time, and if you can hit the bargained trades you're going for a much bigger profit.

Even as hunter you can make over 20 mil a week in collecting weekly outcome from hunter guild.

money wise trading is bs unless the person in question is a low level but even then it's bs.

I used to do trade runs as a hunter, union ones, because they were fun and a lot of the time we'd get attacked by a horde of thieves ^^ and it started job wars.

The thieves came to pvp more than to rob, good times. This is my reason for jobbing and it's a break from the grind.

ok so i got some questions about this. im a trader myself and i never really passed a town up.

Do the market price increases everytime you pass a town? like are they all increase by same amount? like if i even had a 2* , would it increase profit same as 5*?

could someone be kind enough to post profit increases as you pass a town?

ok ill try to reword it.

-how much does the profit increase everytime you pass a town?
-does the increasing profit amount increase at a steady pace? like from 100% to 150 to 200%?
-regarding my first question, say i pass hotan (from dw) and i go to Sam. (2*) and my profit increases by 60%, would it increase by same amount if i did a 5*? (also go up by 60%)?

doing a round trip between two cities (Cons-Sam)
will provide you with more money than a full trip (Cons-Hotan)

HOWEVER

doing a full trip will take less time than doing a round trip between two closer cities

example
round trip- 288% x2
Full trip- 402%

This aren't the exact percents, but it's close to what I mean.
