lol SG, i think wat u did is wrong, i do not think the no DC client is Illgal. It is a program made up an outside source that is used to fix the god damn bug that lagmax does not fix on purpose. LOL wow, just wow. Hope this game dies soon , i want to laugh so hard when it does.

Not everybody wants to pay Joymax $20 a month just to be able to play, so they use a NoDC client so they can log in withint 30mins, instead of within 2 hours 30mins.

You guys seriously have some dumbass rules - Like not being allowed to link back to Silkroad Addiction because they have allowed talk of the private server.

That is seriously pathetic.

We at SRA dont mind the no link back. *shrug* Makes no difference. Everyone knows where SRA is.

As for the noDC client, I dont allow that crap on SRA either. I am not personally threatened by the noDC client, but altering your game isnt right. You dont have to pay JM to get in the game, just be patient or change servers. You also dont know who made that client, what might be bundled with it etc. Policing all DL links posted in a forum is impossible so a blanket, No DL linking, is the best policy for user safety.

Fly's reasons for allowing the private server in SRA are well documented.

She made the right decision. Joymax sells premium service to those who spend real money. What the no dc client is doing is taking for free what joymax sells. To top it off the guy posting new it when he posted his screen shot or he would not have blackend it out.

The multi-clients are a modification of the client, they are disallowed by the joymax tos and should be by srf as well. I actually pm'd sg before she posted in this topic in utter amazement as to why the other mods hadn't cracked down in the issue as well.

The log in system has gives equity to all. Those willing to pay get preferred access and so they should. If they pay for it they deserve it. For everyone else they all get the same chance to log in, they all get dc'd after 1 log in attempt. Its equitable to all. Sure its a pain loading the client up every 15 seconds but everyone has to do it, so your chances of logging in are not affected adversely by it. Now by using a no dc client it gives an unfair and illegal advantage to you and makes for unfair gaming.

Sg has made the right decision on the issue and i fully support his views. Any illegal device that allows for an unfair game advantage should not be talked about on the most popular, legitimate silkroad online forum.

If you don't want to spend money to be able to play, then maybe you should be playing a completely free game. Those who do not wish to pay to play, will have to live with the quality and service that comes from a free game.

What you're saying makes no logical sense. It's like saying: I want this toy but it costs too much and I don't have enough money, that's not fair for me - it should be free for me. So, i'll steal it.
