I was thinking about all people's here claiming to be legit. I've met sooo many people that claimed to be legit, and it turned out they had item/gold farm bots running around the servers for ages. My thought on this is that 50% of all of the real fanatic legit claiming players (lvl 80'ties) have bots running aside of their main legit chars. This is not just an idea, but a straight fact.

Most have done so much throuble to keep that legit look that many will be surpriced to know who has been lying for ages.

atleast i can be proud of it tho ^__^ could not be proud of it if i just left some program on and went afk (theres no fun in that either >.> and games are for fun i believe O.o)

fact....just because of the greadyness of people, everyone wants to be the best and own the most.

Its been a year and a quarter for me too, going to hit 64 today, just bought my second premium ever, and just finished farming.

(BTW, I get VERY annoyed when people are like "It took you 2 months to get 100k SP, I got 100k in 3-4 days." Yeah. You got powerBOTTED for 3-4 days, big deal. Plus, try farming @ lv 61-63 ;_;)

I agree,speculation.U might say some of them bot but to say 50% ur speculating without foundation.

Tbot and isrobot were free at one time because of cracks. isrobot got patched pretty quick but Tbot was free for a looonngg time. Who can say who really did what?

The only people getting caught are the ones who used the same name on different forums and ones who just admit it. People like crumpets

you can also talk to ppl to see if he bots or not(but you can also look at its movement)

oh btw you cant win the war against bots, JM stopped fighting them. Banning botters from this nice forum wont help.

btw I rather see botting banned from sro yesterday than today.

your average joe that bots is botting to lvl and farm. gold bots stay 11 lvls below there lvl.. anyone 70+ will tell you there is no gold bots past the river in taka, there are few people that have the client less bot (gold bots). like on my server ClanServer(i think thats the name) has/had client less gold bots. most of the gold bots are owned by gold sellers. if i remember right you can have 50 users loged in on one ip and they up the accounts made per ip to 15 from 5.

you never know who is botting, maybe they lvl one by hand and bot one on a 2ed computer and never say it is theres.. so you spend a year + to get to 80 but you have 3 other chars that you botted to 80 and no one knows that "MrKiller" (fake name) is yours. this is the internet, people can be whoever they want to be.

you see a lot of people coming here saying oh i got "hacked". then say i never gave out my account to anyone.. but will not tell us they got keyloged with a free bot or a scam site.

anyway open your mind think it all over do your research and all that, people are not always who they say they are.. i could me a 80 year old women or a 7 year old boy for all you know..

yea we are sooo ignorant at least we dont say "yea, its a fact because i say that it is."

im sure that there are a lot ppl who say that they dont bot and they look as legits when they dont are, or they are legit with one char while they bot others. but whats the point of saying "50% legit ppl have gold bots, and its a straight fact because i say that". because of that ppl just laught about u...
imo i dont think players have gold bots, and less legit ones... that bots are most from gold companies.
and greadyness? pff i dont think a gold bot can make a lot of money, it will be faster selling elements, stones, sox...

While most likely true, there isn't anything that can be done about it excluding them coming forward about it. Sadly, there is a very small community of actual legits left. Should we be able to ban everyone that botted, uses gold bots, etc....there would be no doubt only a few handfuls of members left. This aside, it is still nice to ban the ones you can prove, it reduces the amount of arrogant people that claim legitness.

As a sidenote, many people, while still botters, got banned that were nice people overall. IMO, rules are rules and they broke them, but they will still be missed around here (for some people).

i also feel that most of the people complaining about srf's "witch hunt" are closet botters themselves that dont want to get banned, while others are just people who hate the bot spam lol

most botters and legit are realy nice (except all of Triadz)

good remark pain , and i assured myself long time ago that in fact is a truth. Some of people i know that claimed to be "legit forevaaaa" actually worked for several goldbot companies .

totally legit.. i couldnt afford to buy gold/account if i wanted to... cant even afford ticket..
