What do you do? Report them, and get them arrested. Its almost like instinct
Wow, another terrible example. How are botters on SRF secretly plotting to destroy the forum? What he means is they, sometimes indirectly, lead newer members who are also sometimes new comers to the game itself to bot. Usually when they see the lvl that these individual reach with minimal effort. You may ask how would a new member is a not, well a lot of times people on srf voice there opinions quite loudly. Screaming "botter bottter" in almost every "yea I Iz lvl 80 now" thread. I know that I'm just regurgitating what a lot of the mods have said but to a extent it is true. Gotta admit, when you first started playing the game (or maybe after you had played for awhile) a lot of what you heard was "All of them level 80 bots are making our trade runs sck!!!" Till you get there, the only thing you really think is that yes, all the level 80's out there are probably bots. But when you get there you see the truth and that it's not that hard if you just put some effort. *you = anyone playing the game; from their viewpoint*

Hostage, what are you talking about man...new members in SRO? your kidding me right? There is no new members in SRO. Look at Jangan and Const...TOTALY 100% deserted. And besides...you actualy think new legits are getting the idea to start botting from this forum??? In case you hadn't noticed yet...the second you log in and create your char...there is a very nice bot there telling you to check out all the Farking gold selling and powerlvling and botting sites.(which by the way makes Joymax look even more retarded than usual! and would probably push any new comer in the game to get the **** out...just because you can't even Farking talk without getting spammed by a bot on your starter town!)

Funny, I failed to see where I said that was the one and only contribution that pushed people to bot. Of course they're are many things that can put the idea in people head and just becouse YOU don't see new players there would have to be at least a minimal amount of new comers to the game or else it's life span would be short lived. Anyway back to my point things like the gold bot spam in town and bots, well sometimes even people who don't bot, that advertise their plvling is something that SRF and it's staff can not do anything about and have no authority over. That is joymax's job not theirs. But what SG and the rest of the staff are trying to do is contribute, how ever little it may be to the over all picture, what they can to starting a bot free era.......honestly this is is a double edged sword as the intentions of the idea is for good. Banning bots on a forum isn't necessarily gonna make this stop botting. It's just to "clean" up srf for us and the soon to come members.

Banning bots on a forum is necessarily gonna make this stop botting. It's just to "clean" up srf for us and the soon to come members. Lol man, the only new people joining SRO are bots running multiclients or friends of bots that have been promised high lvl accounts. I know...im legit lvl 24. There is NO ONE to grind with. Everyone at my lvl is either looking for plvling from a bot or botting themselves. But sure...believe what you want. And as for "It's just to "clean" up srf for us and the soon to come members." I already stated my position on your celean up act. They aren't doing anything wrong on SRF as far as I've noticed. But I've said this a milion times so im not gonna bother repeating myself. "and the soon to come members" you think there will be new members coming? Realy? Your that naive??? Out of each server of 3.5k people... at LEAST 2k are goldbots...1.4k are grinding bots and I bet less than 100 are actual legit people. So if this war would actualy work...which I don't believe it will...but even if it did...you'd have either zero new members coming to SRF or the new members would just be bots that hide their identity! Which is precisely why I've been saying this is a very silly idea. Doesn't get you revenge against bots, and doesn't keep them out of the forums...so unless its done to entertain people and spice things up in the forums...in my opinion there is really no point to it.

I've already stated "what they're doing wrong" even if it is indirectly.
Honestly, I think you're being a bit to closed minded or are just pulling number out of mid air now to prove a point. I'm not being naive hell I don't even play anymore. What I am saying is that there will always plenty who come to this game from word of mouth and, due to SRF popularity, will most likely get directed to here for help and what not. Besides, even thought I think it will not come do that, a lot of the older members are prepared for SRF diminishing in numbers if it means getting rid of the botters. Bottom line is your opinion is yours and Sg/Ryoko have theirs and no amount of whining, making threads will make yours( referring to yours to anyone who has made threads like this not just you) any more liable then theirs and that's the truth. What they so choose is the law around here and we are either obliged to follow or leave. Those are our options.
