I have the following idea

most guilds and unions on SRO have here and there unused characters.
What if we would send them out under protection of guild and union members to kill BOTS
Off course these characters will get the murderer status but that is why the protection is there to warn any player not to kill the BOT murderer

the BOT murderer can then take out all bots, whilst union protection keeps messaging stay away if u are no BOT, do not kill the murderer etc etc

If SRO can't deal with them then why not us, this way has one other advantage it needs cooperation of some unions( many guilds) which is a nice exercise in co-operation and probably great fun as well

I expect many spectators when a BOT killer goes to do his work

on oasis we have started to discuss this and prepare, the BOT killers are ready now we need to keep them alive during the process

hope this will be fun, and good for all players

Tis an excellent idea. I know when I see a murderer I dont go and kill him because he didnt murder me. Most people kill any murderers though and I think even though they are bot killers people will still kill them.

Good, ya, good idea... to recognise the BOT killing guilds all of them should have the same name, like Anti_BOT, or BOT_Hunters, or BOT_Police or something like that

Can't you just remove the auto-pot feature, or do the bot programs have their own auto-pot programmed? Wouldn't a bot die if it couldn't pot?

My Former guild even though we are small kill any Bots even if we get the murder status. Our Score 5 Botters. And We really dont have to woory JOymax is owned by Yahoo and they have really started to punish bots and it would be nice if they give in game bot killers a prize too

All the bots (goldbots atleast) uses the Self-heal spell. So they really dont need any HP-pots. But yes, there are built in auto-pot functions in bots I think.

The idea is lovely, there is one thing that would be really nice.

And that would to be a more or less in game police Guild, members of this guild should not get Murderer status or something like that.

To bad that this could be abused

But then again it shouldn't be really a guild but a trade, the members of this trade should also post screen shots or anything that could be used as evidents against the bot user.

All they care about is ppl buying silk, and makeing money
ive seen poles where ppl say they have stoped buying silk but even that doesent seem to fase joymax

you'll only be able to kill 4 people until you can't kill any more. Then someone like me will find you and kill you because I want the stuff you'll drop (sorry but true).

That isn't the way, the only way is get joymax to do something. Keep sending in bug reports maybe they will get investigated.

dumb idea. it wont prevent bots. the only way to rid bots is all up to joymax. what i rather joymax do is before they update and get news caps and new maps, they should highly strengthen thier anti-cheat programs and really pay attention to botters and LISTEN to bug reports. whats the point of getting new things in this game if bots are going to ruin it? they have done enough damage already.

yesterday, after the inspection thing, the Alexander server was running smoothly and I had no problems with connection. Hope it's permanent lol
haven't played today though

A lot of turks won't understand "stay away if u are no BOT, do not kill the murderer etc etc '' they will probably kill your char

What about that bomb thing you can buy at the grocery npc? You select a mob and then summon the bomb and it blows up and kills whomever attacks it. I assume that right now a bot can distinguish between it and a real mob, but couldn't joymax modify it a little? If those things worked, I'd log in every hour and summon one in the bandit den.

killing bots does not work because they just bot the exp up again

I know people who bot and even player don't know they are botting so you will never find them all
