I'm aware that this is in the wrong section, but I really think it should stay here, because this way it will be seen my most, if not all of the srfers here.

As some of you have come to believe, the search button is ineffective at searching the forums, even if you do everything correctly, and use the secret weapon, it still doesn't work.

Well, here is a way to search the forums easier, and about 10000000% more effective.

Go to http://www.google.com/

Type in your search terms and at the end type " site:silkroadforums.com" (Note the space)

Now press enter!

The search should be done within 0.000000000001-0.9999999999 seconds, and you should have all the information you need.

Bye bye now.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Forums. Let me Introduce you to this:

You can use AND to define words which must be in the results, OR to define words which may be in the result and NOT to define words which should not be in the result. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches

If you use the AND | OR | NOT then your Search results WILL be much more accurate.

Try it next time you search.

I have never had any trouble finding something with the search button on here o.o.

SRF should just add the google search right to the header.tpl file

Another useful tip is that you can use intitle:<search term> to find topics with that term in the title. So
would bring up all topics with PK2 in the title.
