Joymax, have make a new system for password, but many player didnt know about it.. joymax never tell about that. Its the first problème.

Secontly, for add your information, email adresse and nick, on joymax.com, you just need to enter your id and pass??? where is the ANSWER OF US SECRET QUESTION?

When hacker have add this email, the account is lost..

TOO MANY PEOPLE GOT HACK, WITH THIS JOYMAX BUG... AND JOYMAX DIDNT PREVENT, DIDNT DO NOTHING.


It s no fair, for his member, many have use many money for them, many of people who got hack, are level 80.

Log on it
Put a email, and a nick

AND DON'T FORGET PRESS VERIFICATION EMAIL

Then go on your messbox, check the email verification.

If you don't make it and if someone know your id and pass, he can change your password!!! and you can't take it BACK.

yup i know wat u mean as soon as i ogged on to joymax.com the first time it came i already firgured this out though for for ones that didnt know read this post and log into joymaxx set your email before anyone does cause if not your screwed

lol, if your acount is hacked it probaly your own fault you leaked info. No one atm can just ramdomly hack ppl without a bit of info if so we'd all be hacked.

when you got a char lvl 80 , sometimes you need give your info char, for doing something, sometime you bored to a friend for he test something too.

i know there was an email scam recently which asked you to update your account and when you typed it in ... bam! they'd get all your info. I bet that's what happened. Here is how to avoid email scams.... don't use teh same email on forums related to SRO as you do on your silkroad game account. problem solved

we know about it long time ago be some email verification when SG was almost all know what happend and SG write it even. and if some read theirs forum on news and on the new site you know it ,what you can do .
well i can agree they can write it little more about the email verification from begining before they input it.

the only people that should be paranoid about getting hacked is the people who bot and use 3rd party programs

ffs 1st of all dun tell ur damn account info to any1. it's ur own fault that u got hacked duh...

the bot thing is actually wrong if you refer that people get hacked easier by downloading files that is true but it can happen with anything/any file.

people get scammed, key logged but hacked? don`t think so
maybe a few of those white hat can but hacking people is not an easy task and if someone can hack then no one is really safe anyway.

people who shared account info simply have been scammed lately due to Joymax way of informing people before they actually do things, this could have been a lot better if Joymax actually announced it therefore people could have changed their password with the secret question thing and be safe for this new system.

I put your warning with detailed instructions on SRA. Our GD is a little less "aggro" as Barotix puts it. Thanks for the heads up. I didnt know it worked like that till I read your warning. If they dont want to secure their accounts and wanna fight over such stupid things, let them.

BTW we know from the mass hackings on Greece, that yes, there are hackers who use exploits other than social hacking to get into accounts. And there are other ways, look what happned to SG FFS. If you dont take these steps and someone does happen to get your information, then you not only lose your items, you lose your whole account. If you have ever been hacked in the past, you are particularly vulnerable. If you cant remember your secret question, this also solves the problem as you no longer need it to change your infomation. (yes, that's right, without warming there is currently NO account protection unless you take these steps) So if you dont take these steps that they put in place, you are a moron.

Seriously.. i've been playing sro for more then 1 and a half years now and in this time i've made 2 accounts. In these 2 accounts i've never once changed my password, but still i don't get hacked. IMO if your stupid u get hacked.

Im sure SuicideGrl, the SRF Admin, will appreciate your point of view.
