Leyroy?

For CC, doesn't mages only have polymorph and freezing, at level 30?

That looks fun. It is fun. However, I stopped doing that since some mobs resisted my Frost Nova.

Anyone got a good leveling talent specc? I almost never solo; I level with a warrior. Currently (at level 32), I'm frost.

I leveled with a priest friend till 60, so I was actually looking for grind quests instead of avoiding them since we both got the shields, got the AoEs so dang it was a blast. You should have something like this as a Frost so you can both AoE, solo or even solo AoE.

As for glyphs, pick up Evocation and Ice Barrier to reduce downtime, pair those with a minor Slowfall glyph to make a sweet escape when needed. If you're in a tight pinch, don't hesitate to blow a Cold Snap to refresh your Frost Nova, it beats doing a corpse run by a mile.

You shouldn't use shatter barrier while AoE grinding.
If it breaks before your mobs are gathered it could wreak havoc by having 1 or more mobs running loose while you're channelling blizzard.

I placed those points in precision, less misses are good and some extra mana efficiency never hurts.

Oh and frost channelling is a nice talent as well. 10% less mana and threat on all frost spells is great while instancing.

Looks nice!
I'll skip Slow Fall glyph though... 30 g for it is too much :P
Gotta get Ice Barrier though.

I find myself pwning quite much now, at level 42.
Just let the warrior gather up a lot of mobs and then I run into the middle and do frost nova, run out, go Blizzard and then most of them are dead; if not, the warrior will tank :D

I got slow fall glyph now too. I found it for only 15g!

U absolutely have to get the slow fall glyph. At any cost really. It's amazingly cool as a get-away or just for fun.

Or you can carry around a stack of reagents at the cost of 1 inventory bag space.

I do have to admit it's fun to slow fall away by jumping from cliffs.

BTW you can circumvent the need for slowfall if you're fairly lagfree. Jump of a cliff and before you fall blink. This will let you jump upwards and thus lets you evade falling damage. If you blink to late, you'll take damage and end up dead though.

Sure. I always use blink. But as TBC and archimonde taught me, not every mage will tiem this right. My guildmates had to use slow fall or the tear, when falling, or they'd simply die.

Blink is more effective, but to hard for some.
