EDIT: it just look like you have blured the sides and maked her a little bit lighter and added a text.. but welcome to ps :)

Since your new I think it isnt a big problem that you didnt do to much as long as you dont want this to be your sig. You should first choose a canavas size, insert your picture, add c4ds and brushes, a border, text and your done ^_^ add me to msn if you need/want help deluxebull@live.de

I have no idea where I can ind that stuff...

But I use Adobe PS, maybe it's different rom the photoshop you use??

Haha :D Atleast the text is good! But you have choosen the wrong effect Dont just brush all over her it just looks weird o_O no offense ^_^ I would try this tutorial viewtopic.php?t=36333 its veeery easy imo and great for beginners

EDIT : I use Adobe PS CS3 just as I said add me to msn and ill guide you through

Try using the original stock/render as a background a maybe some c4ds too

Then play with the filters and gradient map/colour filter/etc (click on that circle with one saide white and the other black) you can also try smudging or add some of the soft circle brushes (with a colour that suits the sig) and set the circles to something that looks good (soft light, overlay, hard light, etc)

2 Ugly ones, but I think this one is pretty good...

i think its looks good for ur first time,
but i thinks it looks better when u remove those stars on her face and cheeks and move the mouse while u use the erase tool on a low % if u do that the person on ur pic pop more out :o imo
