im asking a totally different thing actually

ok, here goes

for ever level you up your mastery, you get 1% more damage

for example, when your bicheon is 50 you get 50% more dmg when you use a sword

my question: when i use a fire nuke...do i only use the extra damage from fire mastery or also the weapon mastery

my bicheon is levelled, my heuksal is not...but a spear nukes better so i wanna use it in pve
but maybe i nuke just as strong with a sword because of the mastery %.....

so....?

Yea, if you cant quite 1 shot a mob, equip a spear and it might put you over the top.

The %'age from your weapon tree only influences your physical damage whereas the %'age from any of your force trees influences the magical damage that tree will cause.

your heuksal mastery doesn't effect the damage on your nukes, I wish it did, 80% extra damage sure would own o_0.

Very simple.

Weapon - Psy Attack
Force - Mag Attack

it adds damage in which you can see on the character stats info box in-game, heres a screenshot of someone with more mastery in sword

but its only the phy damage that is more, which is odd..?

stats with sword

stats with spear

and its not the STR difference, because 1 STR only adds 3 more phy damage

Precisely.

The physical damage will be more with sword because their sword mastery is considerably higher. But notice that the magical damage is higher with spear because magic damage has nothing to do with your weapon mastery, only your force mastery.
