Ok i thout about it and i just realize it .. why ppl use glaives and blades ?
Ok ... lets take a str blader lvl 52 .. whit SoN Blade lvl 52 full blues .....
all weps in the game have the mag atack waaay bigger than the phy atack .. so if he just puts a SoN sword lvl 52 full blues .. wound he do more dmg o.O ? like ... it doesnt matter if its str or int ... thats stupid that all the weapons have mag atack bigger than phy .. cus like even if str they count mag dmg by the Imbue .. the same goes for the glaive .. Str Spear char = godd hp waaaay more dmg than glaive .. right ?
and a questions .. when do chars do phys dmg o.O i mean
all chars fight whit some imbue .. then when you imbue doesnt it mean thats mag dmg .. and it depends on the int right .. i dont understand there does the Phy dmg go o.O

No. Strengths get alot of their phys attack from the reinforce on the weapon.

havent you ever seen a glavier fighting without an imbue? imbue just adds a small amount of mag dmg to the physical dmg, just like sword skills add a small amount of phy damage to the mag dmg an pure int deals with.

Glaive and Blade is the best weapon for Str Builds.
Notice the minimal increase in Magical damage for Pure Str builds when they use imbues? Its because they had low Magical balance.
In other words, Pure Str rely on weapon skills more than Imbue. And a Glavie/Blade does just that, boost weapon skill damage.

You use more of the str attk as a pure str. For example you have a spear with 400-500 phys and 700-800 mag, and a glaive with 500-600 phys and 600-700 mag.
Let's just say imbue is 20% of your damage and the other 80% is your weapon attack.
With spear you would do .8(500)+.2(800)=560 damage
With a glaive you would do .8(600)+.2(700)=620 damage
Obviously these numbers are made up but you get the point...well at least that's how I've always thought it worked.

no. i seen to notice that glavies with high phy reinforce makes their crits do alot.
SAY:
Most pure str glaviers/bladers/bowers at higher level do twice their regular damage when hitting the adrenaline "crit" because the glavies, blades and bows have their phy damage and magical damage close in numbers compared to swords and spears which have their magical damage alot farther away. So if you were to replace their physical damage with magical damage, they wont be able to crit double damage anymore.
You see my point?
Replace Phy damage with Mag damage will not allow you to do as much in crits.

Question then:
Is the piercing force skills good to get as pure str? They are they ones that increase mag. dmg by a few %. I can't tell a huge difference using it, but I only have the first book.
Worth the SP?

Worth the SP? No...you don't nuke, and the difference in imbue damage is low. So no.

Thanks. But what do you say of this guide, which states, "This buff increases your magical damage. Most people would probrbaly think 'It's magical attack, I'm pure strength. Useless.' That is where they are wrong. This buff increases your imbue power, although the damage increase is low, it adds 100-200 damage at level 40. Max this buff."

doesnt matter what people say about this or that....the galve weapon was used and created for STR builds and as such is not only the best STR weapon in the game, but is also the best weapon in the game in terms of how much damage it can deal out
