okay so most of the text is just boxes. can sum1 tell me how to get words? sum1 said i needed to update my comps language pack or sumthin? if thats what i got to do can sum1 give me a link to where i could download a newer language thing. plz

You should check the Europe Bugs thread. This is not a bug.

Close the game, and when the launcher pops up, press Options and then set the language to english.
