I have searhed but I could not find any topic about this subject ( Search button sucks anyway, does not work good xD)

There are these 3 types of defence, general, phy and magical. So as an example: I attack a monster with 2000 hp ad Phy defence with my rogue, I would do less damage if it would be a monster with 2000 hp magical defense?

I wonder because when I hit 52 I dont know on what mobs to farm. I could do penons with Phy defense but I could also do sonar or planar which is a few lvls higher but has Magical defense so it might die faster.

So is difference between the damage given big?

Just try it out? Grind on both for 30 minuts and see what turns out best.

I could 1hit mujis when I was level 42 with a sos+5 spear so my guess is they're magic-based, and white/golden-spiders which are level 47-48 took me 2 hits so I decided to farm and lvl up at muijis and uijis, worked really well. you should go for magical defense monsters and since you're a str-based character it won't be hard for you to kill, but watch out for pt mobs >.<

Yeah that's what I would do

When I was farming at 16 I wanted to see which would get me SP faster, gringing archers or chakji workers. It took longer to kill the workers, but the extra sp I got from them almost made it equal between the two.

Go between them a lil (actualy time it) and see which gets you xp/sp faster. Also take note of which has more champs and giants, and if they help you or not. Make a lil experiment out of it. You might end up finding that they are pretty much equal. In that case you can grind one mob one day and the other the next. Mix it up some so the grinding isn't as boring.


I did see a topic a couple weeks ago that listed the HP for each mob. I dont think it seperated mag and phys defence tho. You might want to look for that topic, it should be floating around somewhere still.
