Some Question on my new char

So after building a failing str hybrid, I decided to create a new character. I made her two days ago, lvl 14 at the moment, I decided this charactr will be a nuker, currently added to her stats intelligence only. Ih ave some questions I would appreciate answers too...

1) As I mentioned, right now I am pure int. If i decide to become a hybrid heavy favouring int in the future, is there a certain lvl that would be best for me to pump in the strength? does it even matter?

2) About the items I use. Most of them are blue. When chosing an item to wear should I care more for Pluses to Int/Str? and how about critical does it have an effect on a nuker?

3) Which clothing would be better for me Protectors or Armors?

4) My skills are at lvl 7 right now. I plan on making a gap of 9 when I reach lvl 16 and then kill bandits till I reach a certain amount of SP. What hould that amount be and is my plan good?

5) My most important quesition.. about the skills!
I currently have fire and lightning at lvl 7. I don't know about ice/Bicheon/Heukasel. which of these should I take? should a nuker even lvl up in Bacheon/Heukasel or is it just a waste of SP? how important is ice?
I currently use a spear. I have a SOS spear lvl 16 and a SOS sword lvl 16 so I could go either way. which is better for a pure int?

1) I don't think that level matters.

2) If you find yourself lacking defense, go for pluses. Ideally, you should be able to get both pluses and blues though (try to get at least a +2 on each item, which is easy to do). But at your current level, it's not really worth it to invest too much in your gear (in my opinion, since you level so fast).

3) I would say protector. Armor would make you an easy target for other nukers.

4) Look for some SP farming guides, I know that they're around here somewhere.

5) I would say bicheon, because of the defense you'll gain from a shield and the ability to knock-down and stab. I'd suggest continuing to level up the knock-down skill (at least), because the chances to knock-down will diminish. A lot of people use heuksal to level just because it's faster, but I'm not quite sure what the "winning strategy" for spear is.

I'd suggest ice if you plan on going hybrid (enough to survive in close combat), but if you're going to stay pure int or very close to it I'd suggest leveling up heuksal for the passive. You can choose between 1k HP or 84 added physical defense.

I don't get why a nuker would use the stab thing. The damage will be really low compared to Force attacks no?

Protector or armor in the lower levels. You will need the extra defence because you arent strong yet. Once you get your nukes, you can go protector or garment for PvE because a nuker wants to kill with 1 nuke+lion shout so you shouldnt be getting hit too often.

This depends on your gap. Your character level minus your highest mastery level. eg. your char level is 14 and fire is your highest mastery at 9, therefore you have a 5 gap. If you havent leveled your skills past 7, then you can still have a 9 gap at 16. If this is the case, then i would suggest getting a bow and farming in the stonghold until you get 10-20k sp. If this isnt the case, then you should just work on building a gap, gaining sp along the way. The ultimate farming time for a nuker i personally believe is lvl 52. You get a new weapon, have 3 nukes (lightning, and fire book 1 and 2) and can train on the ice on penon fighters. The spawn rate is good and you can bring up all the skills you are lacking at this time.

Bich Fire Heuk Light correct?
Fire and light are a must. Bich or Heuk is really your choice. Spear does more damage, gives a HP bonus, but lacks the defence you get from a shield. I have seen many 70+ nukers with 10k+ HP due to the spear passive, and good alchemy. If your gonna go spear, get cold, if your gonna go bich, its a toss up. Either one you choose would be good.
I don't get why a nuker would use the stab thing. The damage will be really low compared to Force attacks no?
Bich nukers get knockdown and stab because of their low HP. When an opponent gets in close, this skill gives the nuker a chance to knock them down and either stab, or ghostwalk to gain distance and fire off a nuke.

I chose to go for s/s for now. I have a SOS sword for lvl 16+SOS Shield for lvl 16 (+35 to crit!) These are very good weapons and I assume would be better for farming at the Stronghold then an average bow right?

5) I didnt really understand what you meant about t being a toss up.
So I decided on Bich+Fire+Light. Do you mean it's a toss up between the last skill I should take (Cold vrs. Heuk)?

Well, though the sos sword and shield are great weapons, i wouldnt exactly say they are ideal for farming. Way too much running is still involved. Since you are pure int so far, i would get a +3 - +5 bow and put INT and STR bonuses on your gear via alchemy, or try and find some that already has it on there. Reason being, is that if you choose to farm at the stronghold, which is said to be the best place because of the spawn rate, EVERYONE there is using a bow, and if you arent using a bow, your getting KS'd cause it simply takes too long for you too kill.
5) I didnt really understand what you meant about t being a toss up.
So I decided on Bich+Fire+Light. Do you mean it's a toss up between the last skill I should take (Cold vrs. Heuk)?
What i meant by that is, if you went spear, get cold to make up for the lack of defence by not having a shield. If you go bich, then you have the defence of a shield so you have to choose between even more defence by taking ice (which will give you an extra 2 nukes also, they are the weakest mind you) or just over 1000 HP from the spear passive. I personally think that getting Heuk just for 1 skill (the passive) is kinda stupid. If your giong to level a tree, you may as well get the most out of it that you can. So its a toss up whether you want the extra HP, or the extra extra defence from ice (plus being able to utilize more from the ice tree)
