Weapon:

Strikes = Attack Rating
Master = Durability
Str = Strength
Int = Int
Discipline = Block Ratio

Gear:

Stamina = Added HP (only on head, chest, legs)
Magic = Added MP (only on head, chest, legs)
Dodging = Parry Ratio
Master = Durability
Str = Strength
Int = Int

I think thats it. There are also Steady tabs if your going to enchant your gear/weapon to +4 or higher, Luck stones (you cant get tabs, only stones from breaking equipment), Astral stones (from the item mall, keeps an already +4 item at +4 even if an elixir fails), and Immortal (also from the item mall, keeps an item from breaking, as in dissapearing, if you fail an elixir going for higher than +4)

That was worded a bit funny.

Steady prevents loosing durability when going for anything higher than +4. If you look around in the stalls in hotan, you will see lots of people forgot to use steady cause it will say "Maximum Durability 45% Decreased" or something along those lines. Thats why you should use steady. If you just want your stuff to +3 or +4, then you dont need to worry about it.

To change the critical on a weapon, you need a Challenge tablet (its a ruby one) and i wasnt aware of this 'big hits' stat, you got a screenie?

lol...I think it would just be the big red word critical and higher damage indicator you receive but if you mean something else by all means post us a screenie.

I am going to move to a 4th degree weapon next level but it has no plus at all (has some nice blues and a high crit so I will be using it for at least 10 levels or so....unless I get good deal or find a SOX but anyway)....what do I do to start getting the +1, +2, +3, +4 (I think here is where you get the pretty colors....ooooohhhh aaaaaahhhhhh)

Thanks.

Weapon elixirs do the +'s on weapons. Everytime you succeed, the enchantment goes up by 1. Everytime you fail, all the +'s dissapear. At +3 is when you get the first stage of 'glow' or shine. When you + a weapon using a weapon elixir, be sure to buy lucky powders from the...umm...i think its the general shop (where you buy the void rondo's and accessories)

Good Luck.

Yes, the void and luckys are the same place I think and I currently have one lucky power but have only picked up a shield elixar. So let me get this straight.....I have a no + glav but has good % on mag/phy/reinfor/attack and an 11 crit + a couple of blues so I am going to use it at my next level and use for a while. Wep Elixars run 200 - 250K.....so it will cost me (if they are successful the first time) $200k times 3 plus 3 lucky powders to get my glav to a +3.

Okay....can't remember how much the luckys are but let's guess $5k so I am looking at $615K to get to +3 if all elixars work the very first time for a level 2x +3 glav.....I might as well go try to buy one that is already +3 since that will be certain......heheh

Yea, most people would agree, that unless your farming, there is really no point in doing alchemy on low level gear. The amount of money that you put into it, most of the time, you wont be able to profit from selling the item when your done. I would just look around for a weapon that will get you by without breaking the bank.

Well I was farming a 6 gap and brought it to 3 to level up and get a couple of glav skillz but now I am going to leave it and probably go back to at least a 6 gap which will slow my leveling pace each level higher so I might have this glav for about 8-10 levels......what are the sox drop levels again if you know off the top of your head. I saw it on the forums and I will look around for it but if you know. Anyway thanks E.D.

Sox is the first of the three tiers of each degree.
Weapons it is
1
8
16
24
32
42
52
64

Too lazy to post each item, but you can easily figure it out.

thanks I was looking around and peeped back here and you had graciously posted....don't worry about the details, I wanted to know when I should start looking for them (I hear they come from mobs of around or at that level but that could be just rumor) anyway you gave me what I was looking for I thank you.

Another quick question while I have your attention. Since I have never seen a sox drop, does it look different than the little red treasure chest? I read people posting about how they saw this noob get a sox or this ks'er get a sox on their kill so I am guessing they are distinquishable or is it just a matter of clicking the item? Thanks again.

SOX usually are same lvl but its no rule. Apparently you can get higer degrees off of lower mobs. One guy I talked to claimed his friend got a SOS 64 bow off of a sonar. That I cannot prove, but I know for certain a unionmate got a SOS 32 ring and glaive (LUCKY SOB, same day too XD) off of demon horses which are 24. To answer your other question, yes SOX are unmistakable. Their drops are large jetblack chests with gold projections on the vertices (corners), with bright points of light emanating from the open box. Basically when you see it you'll stare an be like OOO PRETTY, then you'll say THNK YOU JESUS, before you realise holy christ it's mine an grab it up quick lol. SOX accessories come in their own lil jetblack tiny box. Just as spectacular, but same size as a usual accessory drop.

One last question (in this thread at least :roll: ) can someone explain parry ratio ->block parry ratio -> critical parry ratio?

I know what parry is, I am guessing block parry is how well you can parry around a block and get a true hit, and critical parry might be how well you can parry away from taking a critical hit yourself.......thanks.
