I was just thinking about nuking builds a bit, and this crossed my mind:

what for kind of mag balance (hybrid) would a spear need to have the same damage output as a full int sword?
I think this would be very helpfull for people who are considering going full int or hybrid.

refering to npc item...i think that sword+3 mage dmg still less than a normal spear with the same level..

IMO,spear user will do 3 level more(not 3 times) damage than sword use and 3 levels/9 stat point doesnt distribute into int stat,but into str point..that will be the equivalent balance i think

at lvl 80 using a +5 spear, to have mag attack as a pure int sword with +5 weapon with all attack% and reinforce% on weapons being equal, u need at least 95% magic balance (with gear on), or around 79-80% naked balance. with all skill lvls and equips being equal, the pure int s/s will do maybe twice as much dmg to you as you do to him since he got a shield, but against mobs you can ks each other. i have 87% naked balance so with a +5 spear i can do same dmg as a pure int s/s with +7

so would a hybrid build be 2:1 Int for a spear? I was thinking about trying out a Hybrid spear myself but i am not sure about where to put my points.

well i was going to a hybrid because i used to be a Pure Int. I died way too often so i ended up going Pure Str. I love pure str due to the HP and the high critical damage

but for a Hybrid spear, i have no idea about what the % or points should be. i want a little extra hp so i dont die as much, but really dislike a shield (more money to spend ) So i was going for a Hybrid Int. Any suggestions?

i played a lvl 80 hybrid int lightning spear. man it pwns str. lol
and nuker 2.
it nukes hard! 9k-11k on str!
and the phy attack is like sss 3k each. mars = 4k -6k
i love it too much! lol

YOU should like the high critical increase damage. Not the end result, look on the damage contest
