Finally, i have a voice in this forum...

Okay, since i forgot what i was going to post(since i had to post 15 times before i could make a new topic)
I will start off with Hera.
Ah yes, Hera. I thought i saw someone saying that Hera is going to become the Bot free...well i guess not, since i searched the forums and all i found was me saying that..But anyways, Hera was to become a Legit Server. The Home of all Legits...what about bot free???

the only problem is i dont have time to do this, im not even sure if its been thought of or even executed.


Im only going for the gold bots, i really dont care for the people that bots one bot, just the person that bot 4,5,6,8,50 bots at once, that just too much, i understand people leaving a second character to stall, but a bot just KS, and does not even work with you.

THe plan is simple, we kill all the bots that come out the gates to play, With NCP hunter of thiefs. We kill them before they start to grow and expand, save, and sell their gold.

I really mean it, i know that there are very dedicated iSRO players out there that can reach lvl 30 in one day, without a bot. maybe even more.
**The only challenge of this is that it has to go on forever, non stop. One in Jangan and One in Constantinople.


the second thing is educate this bastards that buy gold, Language is a huge issue, so if you know Turkish , German, Polish, Spanish, Whatever, Post anti Gold and bot and whatever other thing in that language so everyone get the message....all you have to do is post it in a stall, one really does not have to spam it on globals and chat.

This is just and idea, and a rough draft, if you wish to expand this some more you are welcome to....

Im thinking of rewriting this but maybe later.

Not only "bastards" buy gold, people from north america do too. I mean, for all we know, half this forum could've bought gold. We'll never know

another problem. lots of ppl buy ingame gold. best thing too do is just NOT BUY INGAME GOLD! from goldcompany. If they dont sell their bots stop cause they dont need more. if they sell alot they need too make more too get the gold again. simple as dell^^

I might have been harsh by calling people that buy gold bastards....but Everyone Buys Gold, thats the problem.....Im from Mexico and people buy gold here....and people still do not see the harm of it.

As i see it, he said that the gold buyers are the bastards and the problem to try to "educate" them is language, because to "educate" all the bastards he'd need people who speak in many of those languages, those who he can't do it himself (as an english speaker).

I hope it works but the odds are against us. It seems impossible to keep all these bots off servers although its worth a try i suppose.

To get rid of all bots you need to start with gold buyers, not the bots.

Gold bots will only exist if you have people to buy gold off them. Now if you want this server to be completely legit, that means people there aren't gonna buy gold. So how do you do that? You need to shame the people buying the gold.

Take venus for an example. They set up a huge legit union and shamed botters/ gold buyers / non legits. They set up the ever functional general parties, dominated server pvp and FW. By doing so they gave botters nothing to play for. Why do people bot? to be the best. When Avalon is dominating they have nothing to fight for. So after some humiliation, they change their ways. They join avalon and play the game the legit way. Or they go back to their old capped bots in their other server to dominate like normal.

Now as each gold buyer is destroyed, thats less and less reason for gold bots to be there. Once the gold bots become unprofitable they slowly start to remove them. As more and more are removed more legit people start playing on the server, as grinding becomes possible. The more legits there are, the more your goal is becoming accomplished.

Its all a long and slow process to get rid of them. Killing the goldbots isn't the answer, its impractical. They will soon alter their routes to go out of new gates. Or each kind of bot will exit a different gate.. and the consequences of having a light thief set up at all gates are obvious.

I agree with everything except that most of the goldbots aren't run by gold selling companies. They're run by playerbots who downloaded the clientless bot and run 20 or 30 of them to farm gold for their main botted char(s). But the same principle applies in getting rid of them. If legits own the server and they have nothing to play for, they'll move on. Unfortunately for Hera, most of the bots leaving Venus are going to move there. Just own them like Avalon did and they'll keep moving on. They're a rather flaky breed anyway.

Curious I must ask how did Avalon "Own" the bots? Or do you mean the bot players regarding Fortress Wars? If thats what you mean then that is not the point of his post and you will always have players who bot a main, Regardless of what you do. But, if you are refering to Avalon owning gold bots, please by all means, someone from Avalon step forward and tell us the secret to you successsss... so all servers can "own" the gold bots. Like I said just curious.

Playerbot runs 20 clientless goldbots.

Playerbot can't win GW. Playerbot can't win FW. Playerbot can't PvP. Playerbot can only job against low level traders. Playerbot thinks Venus is "boring". All the money that the goldbots bring in can't compete with the income from FW so playerbot can't even buy the best gear.

Playerbot realizes there is nothing to play for on Venus.

Playerbot quits Venus.

Playerbot shuts down 20 clientless goldbots.

Playerbot and 20 goldbots got owned.

Were refering to player bots, not gold bots.

They are dominant in pvp. Their expert team work skills have lead them to becoming a near unbeatable force. Even if someone bots up a whole group of lvl 80 euro characters, they dont have the same teamwork and skills that Avalon has created through hard levels of group work. I think you better re read it to better understand what we said.

Bot despair is globaled constantly on Venus. Last night it was Toxic:

"this server is dead - I'm going to Hera"

At the same time that legits are having a blast on the only server that has seen some real vitality in ages. "Dead Server"? I know Oasis is dead. Bots won. Congratulations. I hope you enjoy yourselves. Now we know how to prevent it from happening again.

LOL. last night some bot globaled that we legits make the game not fun. too funny, being legit is the crime now in there mind.

Lightning Thief AoE...called a bot trap. High level trapper stands near a bot and takes the damage; lower level bot gets the AoE and dies.

And if they change that, I swear to god im going to hurt someone. Thats the least we can do

We dont. All the legits are pretty much in our Union or BH union so we dont kill them. I have been out partying with a pt that has 4 or 5 murderers in it. LOL

We are working this server. Sure some are going to try to take it back but they dont have a change.
