And I never realized it.

Thought it was simply perfectionism but I might have a light case of OCD. Sometimes for example I feel the urge to press a key on my keyboard and it'll drive me mad until I press it really hard. Or if there's something I don't like on my desktop I won't be calm until I move it a bit or such.
My socks have to match perfectly the height when I put them on and I usually move things like 1 inch from it's original position because I think it looks bad like that =/


Anyone else with this kind of problem?

I do, but only on some environments. In some places i need to have complete and total order! In others... i just don't care.

when i get really bored ill sometime just go around fixing the smallest things...
aligning the spines of books ,stacking papers ,clearing desk space ,or sometimes trying to organise my life

well i have some form of something like that, foe e.g. if i touch something with my left hand i have to touch it with my right hand also or it bugs the crap outta me, if i hit my knee on something i have to hit my other knee as well or it bugs me -_-

you don't have OCD.....don't be a hypochondriac, i swear its like a new fad or somethign everyone needs to have something wrong with them. "OMG I feel the need to run alot i have ADD!!!!!"

No shit, I'm hearing that "OMG I must have OCD" line like every damn day.

Dont really know if this is the same problem but..

Sometimes when i have been on the bathroom and after i go to bed i thinking did i forget to turn off the light and then i thinking no i didnt i remeber when i did it. like 1 minute after i thinking the same thing and i go to the bathroom and it is always dark in there. Half ways to bed i go back and check one extra time for be 100% sure then i go to bed and sleep and dreams of the next day

I'm very Unorganized, I like things to be tidy but knowing where I have put stuff away is another question. I don't think any of my dvd's, cd's are in the correct case. I think most of the time it is because I have a bad memory..

I either don't care if its neat or not, and leave it messy, but when I do, I get it perfectly clean

Yea i used to do that some years ago until i reached a level at which i had to do everything 4 times..sometimes even 8..but i'm finally cured i think..God it was horrible.

I do some weired stuff when i'm studying though...i get pretty weired when there is something i cant understand..like press on the pen really hard or do any sort of muscle activity in a way thats far from normal.

Most of the stuff everyone is saying here i get when i'm tired..i think thats the case for most of us...its pretty strange lots of stuff some ppl said i actually did/is doing/or thought about doing.

I think I used to have a very light degree. There used to be this time that whenever I put something down (usually a cup or a bottle or something), it had to hit the table exactly right. Like, dead-on. If it didn't, I'd HAVE to go back and lift it up again and put it down, or else I wouldn't stop being able to think about it. That's the only problem I'm ever had. Nothing else about perfectionism or cleanliness. Only the cup thing.

Hypochondriac? Dude since I was 5 till I turned 9, I would walk with my feets on the same line as if I was tightrope walking, eventually it had gone but then I needed to constantly crack my fingers and elbow without using my second hand, so I had to move my fingers till they cracked which looked weird.

Everyone has weird quirks and habits. I don't open doors with my hand i always use my sleeve, Always. I carry tennis ball around with me where ever i go and roll it around in my hand. I eat ice cream bars with a fork and spoon. Whatever. These things are not OCD they are "Weird Quirks and Habits" OCD is counting and seeing numbers where-ever you go or if you go around acting like monk. No you do not have OCD. Yes you are being a hypochondriac. I have been with family members at there job working with children who have wild/severe disabilities and mental problem i know what OCD looks like you do not have it, it sounds like you want to have it, but you don't, your normal and just as crazy as everyone else in the world.

For some reason i have to click the middle mouse button and then wheel it, like every five minutes, and i don't do it on purpose

hehe i remmember when i used 2 do something like that.Like when i am goin 2 sleep and lock my door i think i didnt locked the door and i usually do it once or twice then i go 2 sleep lolz

My refridgerator/freezer has a ice maker on it and everytime I go to get ice, I have to open the refridgerator door and keep it open until I am done getting ice.

Yah its a weird habit.

My ticks of it are:

Any stationary has to be organised sqaure and geometrical on the desk, in size order.

if spin one way, i have to turn the same way back.

Shoelaces have to be exactly mirrored

If i dont put on deodorant when i go bed, or instantly when i get out the shower, i get really agitated, and get angry with people, llol.

My Car + Motorbike have to always be Waxed, not neceseraly clean, but have to gleam with wax



Ive had some of these since i was about 9 :\. but you get used to it, and peopel don't really notice. heh
