Uh no son, don't speak if you don't know what your talking about. GPA was 4.0, could have got in AP classes but opted out. But that year for the test scores i got the highest in the state. So sit down and shut up.

the grading system between american states are really different

here we have 4.0 grading scale but there are no 3.5 or 4.5 given. Just 3 or 4 or 2. So

A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
E and F = 0

average all your accumulated points and thats your gpa. So If you get A- or A+, the points are still the same. I have 4.0 cause im smart

yeah now that i think about, its pretty lame. Students should be awarded for getting A's in higher lvl courses. In college applications, though, they end up looking at what courses you took and how you did in them. I mean, you can get a very high gpa from taking very easy courses.

I have a 4.0 and I got an A in AP stat, it stayed at 4.0 on my high school transcript. I'm talking about how high schools give you points, not colleges. Colleges weigh it so it becomes different, thats obvious
