I used to get into so many fights too because my high school group was full of geeks and nerds and one of them was really fat and some jerks would bully him and I was the only one to defend him. Having said that, one day my dad got into trouble with 2 underage thugs in the bar next to our former house, he couldn't do anything because he'd go to jail so he called me since I was 17 at that time, had a fight, the thug called his father but they didn't fight.. they were close to though.
A few days later in school at the end of the day I was walking home with that fat friend and other geeks and I got ganged by the thug and his friends. I got kicked in the stomach and my back several times (they fked up 3 of my vertebras for around 2 weeks). For my surprise that fat kid would shield me with his own body when all the others ran away. I was really shocked when I saw what he was doing, never thought he would but he did it till we got home.

It's funny how the most coward sheep of the flock might become the bravest lion with enough confidence.

Those we're some of the reason why I took up Tae Kwon Do and eventually taking up MMA. A lot of fights happened in my school and I was afraid I'd be next and the feeling of knocking out a "thug" or "gangsta" was SO SATISFYING especially those bigger or fat ones that think they can fight when all they do is flail their arms around.

I lol'd.

Anywho, when the other team has an advantage on me/us, I always go for the toughest one...and usually take him out; after that, I'm satisfied. :)
It's funny how you can strike one of 'them ghetto kids' with a six-pack, and still take the air out of them easy.

Your friend was brave. Props to him/her. :)

Stand up

I hate it when friends are made fun of, Can't stand it...
Whenever someone is bothering our "gang" of friends, in a cruel way, I get literally PISSED OFF. Than things happen all at once

Thats what we call a friend. Standing up for your friends should just come when needed. I know i wouldnt have to think about it. Took a few hits myself for some friends.

We have moved into a new house and neighborhood over a year ago, thugs are everywhere even in very wealthy neighborhoods.

You rather have your dad in jail for 10 days btw?

No I just love fighting, now I haven't had a fight in over 6-8 months but back then I'd get in trouble on purpose just so I could have a fight. And if I wouldn't have sticked up for my dad they'd have picked on him every single day as he can't touch them at all. They're were all tough and shit but they loved to call the police when things got nasty

I don't like actual fights, I mean I will if I have to. But me and some of my friends bring boxing gloves to school and fight untill first blood, its not an actual fight, its for fun but if the fighters wanna back out they can, i use to like fights but i wasnt careful alot of rage went to my fights and then things could easily get out of hand then I have to suffer the consequences...i still cant control my rage but i havent gotten into a real full out fight in a year and a half

theres no point being courageous if you get seriously wounded or even killed. Fighting thugs isn't something out of a movie. You don't go into dark alleyways and beat up 3 or 4 gangsters. A person can die from getting punched multiple times. I once saw on the news of a clerk who got punched in the face before getting the store robbed. Guess what, one punch and his nose was fractured and his whole frontal area was bruised..from one punch.

I hardly think being tough on gangs is "cool" or "strengthens" friendships. It just gets you seriously hurt or killed. Gangs carry around knives and bats, thats not out of a movie, thats real. The best thing to do in any kind of bad situation is to call the police, thats not being a sissy, thats being man. Being a man enough to call the police and kick gangsters' asses the legal way.

why do you people always go to the extremes?

no im not extending what I said to the extremes..

I'm saying that [b]generally[b/] you should avoid fights because it can be fatal, not completely avoid them. I never said that people should pull out their cell phone when they meet a thug. You defend yourself or run, thats common sense. I'm saying that if you are ever threatened by someone or confronted by someone who asks you to fight him, you should call the police, not accept the challenge to be "courageous" and ending up dead.
