+1. Unless you know that a nuke takes them to almost dead and a lion shout will finish it, they're utterly useless.

At 90cap and 100cap ppl in isro will realize why :)
Until then they got no clue, and useless to tell.

That's pretty much what it seems like. I use it on all my nuker characters when I PvP personally, and never saw why others didn't use it. At least then if you get interrupted by a shield crush or GSM you can still get all your damage off (in a nuke its all canceled when interrupted). Also, its a nice quick finisher / accompaniment to your nuke if the enemy is still at a distance.

I've played kSRO on 90 cap and 100 cap. I'd rather do a knockdown then a useless lion shout that does shitty ass dmg. It seems kSRO players are worse then iSRO players, I havent seen a SINGLE functional euro party in ksro at the cap. iSRO, they are rare but at least they exist.

I'd rather a ghost spear as a finisher than a lion shout to be honest. Very fast, more damage and a chance to knockback on the rare occasion that it doesn't finish them.

Speaks the truth. Or if the enemy tries to run away, do a chain.

I'd rather a phantom + kd if the enemy tried to run ( assuming i was a s/s nuker ). That way if its successful it gives me a bit of pot time + it gives some nice quick damage especially if i kicked in with some stabs ( assuming they didn't try switch to shield ).

Yeah, assuming your a sword. The kd strategy works, but its hard to master. You have to time it perfectly, and most people cant.

Most people don't grind and thus don't know how to master their builds. Sucks to be them.

True for the most part. Some skills are much more useful in pvp than in pve, more so in Euro, but for chinese pure int nuker/bicheon for example, pve mostly involves spamming nukes and the only way to learn to use bicheon effectively is regular pvping.

lol
ppl say as if all nuker will go heuksal for ghost spear, and as if all opponents are melee. What if it's a bow stay from 18M far away? Running to him to do ghost spear need 2s?

Lol yup, even now tho it works well. Use a few Lion shouts to lower their parry and do 2 nukes = dead.

Test it ... and I have encountered MANY people who don't carry pills in pvp.

imbue's work on nukes, i dont' remember if it worked on shout though, but if you ice imbue your fire nuke you can freeze and burn at same time

Less than 10%.

I think they use it b/c its constant damage its faster and you will have constant damage. Dont know how they will use it in pvp.

for the ice/light builds its better to spam shouts than use the ice nukes

there were plenty of times where a nice lion shout or two would've finished me off, but nubs tried to either nuke me or teleport to me and ghost spear, after I KBed

i think it's a useful skill, if you think the guy has like 200 hp left and you're almost dead, id rather do something quick rather than chance it and charge for a nuke. cuz ill sprint assault yo ass if you don't.

All ur stuff made a bit sence, but a chain -.- That does even same damage as a lion shout -.- I rather trow my spear or glaive at the enemy then do a chain!

Most people have no idea of how kSRO really is. There are still a good amount of euros. Just not as much as Chinese. But, kSRO uses the Euros only for their buffs and party ability. Really with the Euros buffs, Glaivers and Chinese Nukers will accomplish more than the Euros can alone. Which is true but it isn't something that anyone really does other than kSRO, which is really all they do. Unlike us, they have had time to experiment and have found what is best. And that's why they use their builds that way. In the way kSRO plays, the builds that are usually created are the best possible.

*Taken from other thread some things out of context*

Also it does more damage than Sword or Spear attacks since their Piercing Force is at a higher level which boosts the shout damage. Even though you can say you've experienced kSRO for yourself you didn't even take the time to think of how their magical damage is boosted a lot more than iSRO's which makes a big difference, especially when they still have Fire Imbue too. The shouts also deal its higher damage a lot faster than weapon skills to.

Knockdowns from sword skills leave you open in Wars and other large scale PvP. When you knockdown you have to run or be all the way up to said person and then you have to take the time to use your KD a few times and then they are knocked down. Then you are stuck with either letting them pot up or dealing the damage to the 1 person while still being up next to said person. Your are to much of a sitting duck trying to knockdown and stab where as you can continue nuking or just use some shouts instead.

Spear < S/S. 2k HP isn't going to save you from shit compared to a S/S. And the skills aren't helping you with your damage so it would still be superior to be using shouts instead.

And I'll give you pick of how kSRO does Euro parties in bit...
