HaHa...
Good thing in GW you'll probably just be a PvE noob. You don't even know the half of it and how Anet really is bad too, lol. The only good part about that game is the PvP which is one thing you will probably never experience to a good degree. Luckily enough for you, GW 2 is just a WoW copy so PvE should be fine for you.
Trust me, unless you know people in GW you will never get into PvP in GW 2. GW takes skill and thus is extremely elitist. Hell, I don't even know if there is a way you could even prove your worth in GW 2. GL with the 24/7 PvE. And none of that even had to do with how Anet is bad lol, that's just how bad the community is...

Good for you I guess. I half expected you never played before because you are saying that spinkstar enlightened you. I guess you aren't one of the people who are pissed at how shitty some of the balancing is. But, I quit so I dunno how current balance is. When I quit HA and GvG were shit, well HA is still shit from what I heard, but I heard they nerfed the shit outa Paragons and SP sins so GvG is prob a lot more fun then before.
ok gl and u are right about JM,they sux but the game is great so i just qiuted isro it was a waste of time for me either...about 2 years+,nvm psro is still good just too much hacking >.<
If you want to think sro is just grind grind grind...maybe its better you quit =]
Cya and hf with GW
Yeah I actually think its just grind grind grind ... I guess I'm having bad time with finding nice and helpful people in it ... There is no events , and when they put something in it , like CTF they always must **** up something ... at first I was pretty amazed with it ... It was really good job ... then dc-ing started , and no mobs ... and they even put 10 levels higher mobs against us , so none of us can even leave the gates .... Then we have Fortress Wars ... I cant say anything about them coz I never actually played it ... I got school when the FW is, but I heard people arent statisfied with it. Then Guild Wars ... People always run into safe zone or the balance in numbers are diffrent ... like 10v10 at start ... and then another 10 from opposite guild hops in , when their guild is losing ... Now they found out a way how to see rogue and wizard stealthed trough pk2... There is too much bugs in game ... and the guard against hacks sux ... the Joymax thinks only about money ... tho i cant only flame them ... they are doing great job by running the game , and in other hand they are the worst company there is ... I wouldnt be suprised that no one plays this game in 2 years if they continue this way ...

Don't blame Joymax, blame the players. Think of Joymax as the Parent and us as the children, Joymax has a hands off parenting approach, meaning: Joymax, the Parent has given the children much leeway to do as they wish. The children took advantage of this leniance and rather than playing the game having fun and make the parent proud, they took advantage of Joymax' hands of approach and it led to the decay of the game. SRO is far from popular, don't let the servers fool you, mmorpgs live off their new players (children) and when the amount of children coming in is less than the amount of children going to college (quiting sro, leaving the "house") you end up with a game infested by cheaters. the new players who come from various Gaming backgrounds (WoW, Flyff, GW, Runesscape, etc etc) will see this lack of effort and mistakebly blame the company, when in fact WE let this happen.
Thankfully 3 Unions have decided to go against the SRO norm and go with the MMORPG norm to fight the infestation.
Thank you: MaliceArmy, Avalon, and Vengeance for making this game worth logging into every day at 4:30 Pm EST.

Well... in my book parents are still responsible for the acts of their children... (till a certain age)

oh my god it's a virtual game like the rest of mmorpgs and other games, you can't blame parents for this Only you can blame them to allow you play Online games to much if you become addict
you dont get it do you joymax is new and that means no money well guess what they have to pay to keep 30 severs online and pay for the people who work there. do you think they can hire like a 100 people to just sit in a sever and ban bots for 9 hours a day? would you do that for 9 hours a day? the game aint about grinding its about grinding and talking to your online buddys. if you take everyone from sro about 50% is bots because these people dont know what the game is about. then about 35% are people here who play the game how it should be played a little. the rest are the cheaters hackers and everything else. but quitting is your chose

Gold bots help the fledging parents gain "control" of the children by forcing a vast sum of them to buy premium. @Bow, and how old are most SRO players? I think most are sensible enough to know in MMORPGs buying gold and botting is looked down upon and wrong, but our Isro players are the type who live by these four creeds:
"The End justifies the means" "Forgo the journey, its not worth it" and "If their not going to enforce the rules, then why should i adhere to them?" "I want it now!"
In a game like sro where the only role playing is in a party, you can rest assured that how people act in real life leaks into their e-life.

Lol i have no clue Barotix But from my experience the average age isn't really high.. rather low (no offense). But even if the average SRO player is 21+ and should know better that doesn't mean Joymax should back off and sit down. They are still responsible.
