Well basically I'm trying to say is... "What is YOUR Top 5 Important Buffs" - that you usually go on either on Jobing or PvP.
To get you on the mood to reply, let me give you a sample scenario. You are Thiefing where 2 Hunters just pop'ed up, 1 was the same lvl as you are(based on gears) and the other is like 5 ~ 7 lvl's below you(but hes only for back-up purposes, and he dont inflict too much damage).
Now you just Died and then a Passer by just ress'ed you, the Hunters were unable to noticed you just came back to life...

OK... you just have enough time to make 5 Buffs before they come back to kill you again, now what would it be?

Here is a Code so that you could make the a fast reply:
Code:
[b]Build:[/b]
[b]1st:[/b]
[b]2nd:[/b]
[b]3rd:[/b]
[b]4th:[/b]
[b]5th:[/b]
[b]Reason to why i did pick the 5 buffs:[/b]

Here's mine:

Build:Pure Str Archer
1st:Snow Shield
2nd:Grass Walk
3rd:Fire Protection Series
4th:Hawk Training Series
5th:Break Heaven Arrow Series
Reason to why i did pick the 5 buffs:I picked those 5 buffs because i'm thinking of my survival, i plan to run away with a shield and buff all my necessary buffs and if i loose them. Then I'll go back to them and let them pay  , added: i also picked snow shield to lessen the damage mush more.

You could also pick another scenario aside from mines. feel free to make your scenarios and your planned buffs :)

1st: Life control
2nd: Earth barrier
3rd: Fire trap
4th: Invis
5th: -
Reason to why i did pick the 5 buffs:Well...I dont have more then 3 *buffs* and I also think fire trap is a bit useless when I go invis...But anyway..Life control for dmg, earth barrier for defense (a bit) and invis...to be unnoticed =p

Build:Full STR Xbow Rogue/Bard. Level 57. Server Neptune.
1st: Crossbow Extreme
2nd: Noise
3rd: Moving march
Reason to why i did pick the 3 buffs: Without crossbow extreme, the rogue is like a warrior that can't tank and levels slow. Noise is important against aggro mobs. In crossbow extreme, 3-4 mobs can prove to be lethal. Noise takes care of that. Moving march is my third. The range increase with fast shot can partially make up for a potential lack of speed, but moving march definitely helps alot with jobbing, besides leveling. :)

Cleric/bard here.

If solo:

1. Body Blessing
2. Soul Blessing
3. Moving March
4. Recovery Division
5. Noise

If partying:

1. Body Blessing
2. Soul Blessing
3. Moving March
4. Noise

Reasons for buffs should be obvious. Body for phys defense, Soul for mag def, MM for extra speed to next mob, Rec. Div to lessen pot use, Noise for the low monsters or so I don't have to worry about bringing a ton to me.

If two clerics, huzzah, we buff each other with force/mental blessing.

Well, considering I always go with a party, my used buffs would be from a combination of builds.

- Physical Fence
- Magical Fence
- Body Deity
- Mental Blessing (seeing we don't have Deity yet)
- Bless

Hybrid int spear

1) fire shield
2) piercing force
3) guard of ice
4) mana shield
5) bloody snake storm

assuming I only had 'time' to buff for 5, it would be those 5...

grasswalk is an instant cast and it can be cast while fighting, so it wouldn't affect the amount of time.

depending on which set I was wearing, (currently garms) I could choose either guard of ice or fire protection... (but my fire mastery is only at 60, so the def given isn't really that great)

Usually if I'm buffing near an enemy I will turn on my castle shield (bicheon at 51) to give me a bit more time to buff. however I'm delevelling that now, so sooner or later that won't be much of use. If fighting int opponent, I will switch to spear, turn on bloody snake storm, and switch back to shield and continue buffing. Usually takes down most of their damage unless they are in zerk, of then it's pretty tough to tank a whole minute of regardless of what buffs you have :P

Reason to why i did pick the 5 buffs:The reason I picked Moving March is because I like to get my bard buffs out of the way before using DD or CE. Once I put on Moving March for speed and Noise for protection, I switch to Daggers/Crossbow and use Destealth. Then I use DD or CE for higher damage and then I stealth so I can sneak up on my enemy.

same as him only first recovery division and bless, otherwise iron and mana skin dissapear when changing to cleric rod to get bless :).

so it would be;
build - Two-Handed Warrior / Cleric
1st - Recovery Division
2nd - Bless
3th - Warcry
4th - Iron Skin
5th - Mana Skin

Reason; With these buffs on your almost immortal xD

Reason to why i did pick the 5 buffs:As a nuker it's important to have a lot of defense and a good survival rate: that's why I picked N° 1, 3, 4 & 5. Why I didn't picked Fire Protection? Becuz as a int u already have good mag def and only few monsters do mag attacks... The 2nd is of course to deal a lot of dmg

Rogue/1h-Warrior
PvE (I don't PvP)
Party (as rogue)
1. Poison Trap

reason- I place a poison trap around the cleric so incase the warrior misses provoking them, the mob will attack me instead of the cleric, I usually don't have my dmg buffs on if I'm setting a trap, so I can tank a little until until others help kill the mob

Party (as 1h-Warrior)
1-5. the obvious tanking buffs

Reason- The only reason I sub 1h-warrior is when the party lacks a one, I can fill the spot
