I hate how american politicians have only black and white opinions on controversial issues. For example, abortion, we should make abortion illegal except to the people who get raped, only they should get abortion rights. There are so many compromises between sides, all they do is sit on the ends of the spectrum that's still a pretty black and white opinion

Well, having Billary for a wife justifies cheating imo.
Anyways, fo with the 'cheating presidents can't be trusted' yadayada. Fact is, He did a very good job on his term, even when he cheated. Which is why most Americans love him.
Don't know who i'd rather have for president in '08 though, these are some weird elections for me this year.

People are so dumb they think that she'll be as good as bill clinton just because he was so good and she was his wife. Obama has every right to deride her cause she keeps bringing bill with her on her speeches and stuff

I don;t see why you're all so crazy about Bill. He was just elected during a very good time period...when the economy was running great and the country had few if any problems. The highlight of his presidential career was when he got head from Monica....thats about it.

well, that would be my highlight too if I were president.
Also, I'm going to vote for Obama, mainly because I don't trust Hilary, and I"m sick of dynasty presidencies.

Obama takes the #of states, but hillary wins where it counts. i kinda want obama to win, he seems like a strong man. Hilary is nasty.

It's basically neck and neck, and he's been coming on stronger lately. I dont want her to win for another reason: The Republicans HATE her so she will give them something to rally around. No way can we have another dipshit republican in the white house for 4 more years - and yes, that means I think McCain is a dipshit

Carrying over the other thread... suppafs32 wrote: hey ok first off im from texas soo my primary is coming up!!!! post who you will likely vote for and why. im going for barack: reasons 1.hes the least conservitive and being african american its good to see people who support affirmitave action. 2.his war plans are the strongest off all of them. 3.being a younger voter seeing thathe has experienced drugs i think it will be more effective for him to try and stop the drug epicimic going through the country. please no flaming justdebeting on theperfect canidate DONT POST IF YOU DONT KNOW THE ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT I'll be voting for Ron Paul because he's an almost perfect candidate. There's only a few issues I disagree with him on. Abortion and borders being a couple. If, suppa, you're talking about dems then you're right on #2 & #3. Paul, though, has a stronger stance than Obama on both war and drugs. War: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/war-a ... ign-policyDrugs: He wants to end the prohibition and will pardon all people that were put in jail for non-violent drug crimes. (Didn't see his 'official' stance on the site but here are some writings: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/war-a ... ign-policy)

You can hardly consider her to be a female, and people dont like her because she is as clear as a puddle of mud. Poor thing cant even decide where she stands on issues, and quite honestly, i dont need a president that Farking cries on tv to get sympathy votes.

Updated again. Huckabee dropped out. McCain secured the GOP nomination.
What are you guys thinking now?

I read that Texas was too close to call, so the big share of Ohio goes to Hillary I guess. I don't think that gives her a lead in delegates though.
Until Pennsylvania, we don't know.

God damn, another curve ball. After all the hype that Obama has gone through he does this poorly with two of the biggest states? >_> Guess he doesn't have it in the bag. Even though I don't care for either socialist, this race is pretty exciting if you're into politics.

lol at Nuke calling the democrat candidates socialists.
Yup, pretty surprising that Hillary swept both the biggest states with a triple win. Hillary might have a chance.
But who cares? McCain will easily pwn either of them in the general election.

It's the Democratic platform to focus on socialist issues(welfare, affirmative action, etc.) Of course, I'm not saying that being socialist is evil, it's just a question of whether or not we as taxpayers want to be forced to pay for that stuff.
