player thieves cant kill them but aggressive monsters can...

one time, i was grinding in Anatolia Plateau (using my lvl 26 Warlock) near the road and there was a lvl 20+ 1* trader being chased by Punishers thanks to the luring powers of an 8D spear user thief.. after i saw that the trader and his camel died and his goods stolen by the theif, i decided i wont go on my first trade run unless i can handle the monsters that i will encounter on the way... i'm ashamed that i didn't help the trader... i got scared that if i help him, i would be the new target of the thief.. >_<;;;;;

the old job system was not better but was the only pvp fun besides cape and guild wars we had.
if joymax changed the special goods selling to 1 town each time (its announced so they can also announce the town and increase the profit of doing special trades it would be a lot better for jobs, traders would get even more hunters and thieves would have a decent idea where to find those trades.

the new jobsytem is unfair towards thieves, the map area is huge, its either you have to get some spy on certain spots of the map or wait in a town for trades to start.

unsuited helpers need to turn pink probably lamest thing ever, you can basically be guaranteed to finish your trade if you have 1 suited and another unsuited cleric helping.

the gates jobfights simply are whoever has most clerics/bards/warriors in the safezone will win anyway.

i wish the old job system would come back, but you had to put a suit on in town.

No. But seriously now, i recently changed from hunter to thief, because well, i want to be able to go jobbing without other people from time to time, as a hunter, goin around lookin for thieves is just a waste of time.

So im a thief now. Fun fun fun. But wait. No. No its not, all the jobbing now is just lone 1* traders - cant kill them.
Or big ass 8 person 80s caravans. Not much to do there either.
2 days straight of just running around, or camping bridges, not a single 40-70 trader without a sun hunter, and not a single under 40 2* +

Will it change after the "bot ban"?

And bearing in mind its called "SilkRoad" because its all about the trading on the SilkRoad, there isnt all that much of it is there?


Couldn't agree more about the thief thing. I'm a thief, but haven't gone out in quite a while because it's always just been running around wasting time until an 80 sosun hunter 1-hits me.
