Well, you guys all know grieving is coming from the monster scrolls, but lets turn a bad thing into a good thing and donate your mob scrolls to the botters!!! You all know where they are, find them and get a high enuff level buddy to donate his level spawns to the botters. Now we all know these botters are really eager to level fast so I am sure they will be very greatfull to you for your donations and you know they liek BIG EXP rewards so make sure you get a really high level buddy to spawn for them!!!

Beleive me, I will be doing alot of donating over this little event!


Techniques:

Remember, mobs spawn, hesitate, then attack.....be sure to move fast and you are fine.

1 Monster scroll probably isnt going to do it unless there is a good sized level difference as the autopotting will keep them alive well.

Dont spawn caster mobs on caster people or physical on physical unless the level difference is large.

IIRC I will be spawning Penons or Sonars!!! God knows what evil the 63-65 guys will bring to the gates of DWang and Jangan so be on the look out!?!?!?!?

I can garuntee scrolls being used in many fashions so be prepared to vacate the the area.

Be sure to announce your intentions so any non-botters can vacate or at least get to watch at thier own risk. We dont want our non-botting friends to steal the precious exp we are donating to the botters!!!



On another note.....those scrolls are a hell of a way to level also. If you have a couple higher level guys and you can spawn some controlled mobs like Shades and have some nuker buddys to help kill em quick some lower levels can really get solid rewards and the high levels do also. Here is one combo we used last event.

(1) level 51, he spawns Ishades, they dont move so they are ideal

2-4 56+ perferably 2 Nukers

The rest lower levels say 40+ or even higher, lower is ok but they can be one hit easy.

8 player exp share and go nutz! IIRC I was 45ish and we spent like 30 mins doing scrolls and I got nearly 50% of a level (could be off its been a while)

If you cant spawn something like a Shade and they are mobile foes you will need something to tank them.....

Any low level leachin exp needs to be damn sure not to draw aggro.....use your lower damage ranged attacks like a low level Flying Dragon or your finisher caster skill or a Bow+Imbue.

If you cant make good use out of these for your own exp.......DONATE TO THE BOTTERS.....they will appreciate it.....well, I will!!!

Unfortuantely of late, too many people have been getting wrongly accused of being botters (even I was accused. o.O).

It's too much of a griefing tool as is, they should find a 100x monster summon scroll and make it effective RL and drop it on those dev's heads. >.<

Unfortunately there are a good number of people that think they have a bot and dont know but accuse and that is why Vigilantes are prosicuted just the same as your average criminal.

OMG I just realized that if someone's scroll spawns strong death mask nachals we are ALL FRIGGING DOOMED, nobody will be able to leave Donwhang for a WEEK!

that would be bad, very very bad.

hahah they'll eventually wander into the safe zone and disappear. if worse comes to worse, someone can suicide bomb one and hit it, and then it WILL disappear after 5 mins.

STINGER, while there are loads of terrible ways to use a monster scroll, your idea is EXCELLENT. why waste time kiting mobs to a botter when you can summon your own, and 20x as strong to boot? i think this is an excellent idea.

Wait, so the 5 minute timer only starts once they've been hit? Not when they are spawned or when they aggro? Got evidence?

last event, we were hanging around near the then-closed Stone Cave, doing strong whatevers, and we noticed another group doing the same not far off. we were done ours and just hanging around, and some of us started caping, etc. the other group left, and after about 20 mins i noticed a strong red scorp wandering around. i can only assume that it's because it wandered away before getting hit. me and a guildie killed it, and it was my lvl at the time (YAY ZERK). it took close to 5 minutes to kill, but we got it. if it had been summoned by the other group 20 mins before, it'd ahve vanished by then i would think. but then again i could be wrong.

People get falsely accused because people come here, read about bots, and think the first person that doesnt speak english or is in party chat is a botter. Then they act like assholes and PM, KS, invite to party, and more.

Bots
-Instantly walk to the dead mob and pick things up
-Instantly target mobs as they are FADING IN
-Get stuck on pathing objects.
-Other smaller signs. I've never seen a bot with a monkey; they dont need them. They dont KS.

The 'stuck bot' is the only 100% way to know. And I see them stuck almost every day. If the bot is stuck, you dont need to KS and act like an ass. Its pretty obvious. We did a trade through the ravine and saw two stuck on the wall, almost in the same spot.

The other telltale sign is repetitive weapon imbunes, but never attacking the target. Obviously a broken bot.

They are back. Or a few at least.

[VietUSA] is already botting again on Xian. The hype about the easter event probobly encouraged them to work harder on beating game guard / SRO. It was quiet and unpopulated for the first couple days. But now look at it.

Of course we should be very sure they are botting, but this could be fun. Too bad I'm not very high level.

I have seen several bots with monkeys and I have earned a good amount of cash due to them being full. Spent my 3 hr scroll getting double drops the other day in shades. The botter came to the puter and noticed it was full and unloaded all its arrows, I just waited a few mins and filled his monkey back up wiht the same arrows he tossed....he moved away from his spot to dump them.

The best way to catch a botter is with the compass. Watch the compass and where they go, if they head towards a red dot and there is no mob yet and then there is and does it alot its a bot.

Another one is when they zerk.....Anyone that goes zerk is flying around lookin for things to kill if they cleared the immediate area, but bots stand there following the plan waiting for a spawn alot.

Another really good one if they have "no ks" on is to watch for thier next target and hit it first, they will immediately turn to a new target even before you actually hit the target, thier prog picks up that you threw the attack befroe it hits.

Multiple imbues and no attacks are a sign also......but this can also happen in packed areas by non-botters.

Then there is always the continued bumping or snagged on an obstical.

Please ay attention to the KEY WORDS......
Like I said.......ANNOUNCE YOUR INTENTIONS....... and evaluate the area well before you apply your DONATIONS!

I did, but unfortunately I only had a 1 man scroll and this nuker who wasnt a botter saw it and decided he wanted the exp......he was from an opposing VN guild so he wins that confrontation but he could of at least let it kill one of the bots.....argh, I need some 5 man scrolls!

I found 23 eggs many from bots and only got one summon scroll. There still is time, btu my next 1-man summon is going to be somewhere else wher eI know they cant kill it....
