You wouldn't actually be purchasing "iSRO" per say, but rather the license(s) required to host/promote the game in a particular country. "iSRO" would remain the same, but the country in which the license is purchased for would obtain their own specific version. Take a look at vSRO, jSRO, and cSRO. Same deal there.

Yes and no. No you cant buy Isro, but yes you can buy license right to run sro like other private companies running Csro, Jsro, Vsro, and Tsro. If you got enough $ to do it.

I just sent it for the lulz Quote: Firstly, this e-mail is intended for the Fantastic Four (AKA 'Steve' , Guido , Ulrich and Stephan), I know you're four busy executives but this e-mail won't take too long to read. I played Tibia for over six years, I never got bored of the game and I used to love the company for the simple fact the team always took good care of the community, always so helpful and not greedy at all. I had to quit playing eventually due to real life issues, but that's not the point. I've been playing a game called Silkroad Online for over two years now, the game itself is all about ancient china and the silkroads and it's a pretty awesome game, but without the proper management the game has failed completely; Bots running free from punishment, goldfarming bots crowding the server and making economy go horribly down, players buying that gold therefore creating a vicious circle. All because the company (Joymax Entertainment) only cares about money and think the more they get the more they shouldn't care about the players. If they only knew a happy community is a buying community they would understand it, but I guess that's the way it works in Korea. I've always, always daydreamed about CipSoft running the SilkRoad Online, what a great game it would be and how many new people would join (newcomers are hardly seen due to the fact servers are full 24/7 and it's almost impossible to log into the game). How beautiful it'd be not seeing botters around every corner. The game is F2P and it has a premium shop, just like our beloved Tibia. Also reviews say it's one of the best MMOs out there and if it had a good company running it the game would be with no doubt the best of the best when it comes to online gaming, every single Silkroad player thinks likewise. As now, the company is going downhill, less and less players buying their premium products and more bots playing the game, mainly goldfarming bots. All I'm asking you is to consider it perhaps, investing into such a huge game would be a good think for CipSoft, maybe even it's first 3D MMO. And belive me it'd bring a lot of profit. I am willing to collect as many signatures as you want me to to prove the game is actually worth it. Here's the official game website: http://www.silkroadonline.net (check the forums, see the mess) And this is the company website: http://www.joymax.comI'm hoping you read this with all my person. Thanks in advance, A very satisfied and always tibian person.

If you bought Joymax for $51 million and the 1st thing you did is "made sro better" (ban bots, gold buyers, gold bots, ccf, ect) Your company value would go down probably like 10 million from that. Then without bots and gold buyers, the majority of sro players will be gone. If somebody needs gold and cannot buy it they will quit. If a player bot needs to grind and cannot bot, he will quit. Every server but maybe 1 (venus) have around 80%+ - bots/gold buyers. Together every server's max players is 98,500. So, 98,500 X .80 = 78,800 Only 19,700 players left. If you lose 80% of sro, (which is 78,800 players) you basically ruined your entire income and possible chance of profit. Yes, I know most of these are goldbots, but when you stop the gold bots from selling gold, you will make the gold buyers abandon the game as well. Joymax is a business, they are in it for the money.

So its basically Tencent that is in for the money.. Joymax I'm sure is worth maybe a fraction of that..

Would ask my dad, but I would only get something like this: "My Company is a Medical Practice not a gaming company, I don't have time for your nonsense blah blah blah blah SATs blah blah College blah blah" Yeah that sums it up Besides the main problem with the game are the players, not Joymax. They could fix matters, but would the players comply and play the game like its meant to be. Even now botters still bot, but for what? Triangular conflict is near dead, Cape PvP ain't even worth anything, and FW is/will be dominated by coordinated Europeans. Its only a matter of time before player bots leave, realizing this game is a dead end for them, there really is no gain to be made. Then again some people are intrinsicly motivated, but if you're intrinsically motivated you shouldn't be botting, but botting you acknowledge outside forces having an effect on you therefore you don't play because its fun but because of some reward, but what reward. Does it make you feel good to know you can pwn a bunch of people that leave miles away from you, why make such a big deal, its just a game: play it like it should be played have fun for funsakes, stop letting the grind get to you. LOL there i go ranting again

All we know is that Joymax is pathetic when it comes to customer support. The bottom line: it's up to the players. We have to change it ourselves.
Damn I love the thought of that.
