Why did no-one tell me that the lvl cap is boring... I was farming a new char with my old lvl 80 then thought "why?"...
Do some jobbing (yawn)... cape fight (more yawn)... no more drops... just all around dull really. I'm seriously thinking of abandoning SRO for something that takes strategy and brains to excel in (if such a thing exists - EVA online? Real Life?)
I have fun with the game regardless of level. I know my 77 isn't capped, but I consider it to be (I don't care for maxed skills, just gear). And I enjoy the game (minus the bots). Being capped is only boring when you play on a boring server. And from the looks of it, Venus is gonna be boring at cap for a while. I never see anyone at south gate Jangan. But on Troy I could login at 1am and there'd be people at both DW south and jangan south..... almost 24/7. meh

=P I would suggest pirates of the burning seas....their economy is 100% player based. an experienced player w pos equipment can dominate a newB with "uber gear" the world is based off of RVR and the majority of it can be conquered...

After my warrior i won't ever make another char. Ill just pvp and job a lot, wait for new cap raise hehe. Its all about the friends you have that play the game
Best way to prevent yourself from being bored @ cap is to be in a nice guild/union that you can do stuff with. It's a great way to keep yourself from being bored and if I wasn't in the guild I was in I probably would have quit the game a long time ago.
As for a game that requires strategy and brains to excel in try some RTS games like starcraft or warcraft 3 or you could play super smash bros melee/brawl (which are both deep when it comes to strategy/tactics than it may seem on the outside).
I'd love to have a lvl 80 char, I've never been passed 40 I wouldn't think it would be that boring. Join a fun guild who have wars often, take part in fortress wars, pvp or even challenge your self by making a fun legit guild Lead your own 'army', if not then just murder some bots hehe
After login, click on your char and hit delete. Start with ur new char, then you have thing to do. Otherwise, you can farm gold and items at snipper. They have good drops rate there...
i know 80 full farmed is boring when my 80 bower was full farmed the 2nd day i allready was bored and fcked up like 800 m an trying 3 of my +7 weapons to +9 all failed :@
now i have just 100 m and 1 +7 weapon left -.-
and that +7 is off my mate i lvl his 79 char to 80 now so when also done with that in uninstal silkroad until 90 gap comes

lolz.... the sro life....
grind grind grind... get higher lvl and get new skills... get exited pvp a little... grind more... get some sos drops.... become a total game adict and start buying tons of silk... then grind more.... (with prenioum and pets lolz) sp farm.... get bord and plvl party.... then get to lvl 80! your exited...! then.... bord.... then sell your character make about 500$ (just enought to pay off all that silk u bought) and... realize that your adicted to the game and make another char....

The only reason i play this dumb slow paced game is.... 1. Have some really good friends...And i enjoy talking to them when i can connect... 2. Nope...nothin

Wait so everyone complains at how boring grinding is and how much they hate it. And them some people just bot so they dont have to grind, but even when they finish their grinding or botting they complain that they are bored?
