Does anyone else have this problem?

Ok,

I'm starting to notice a problem here, at first i didn't really notice it, but its popping up more and more now, and its starting to annoy me.

Sometimes, more that sometimes now. Images that people post don't get displayed. They would just say Image.

Example,
In the other thread i just made, one of the replies was:

However, for me the reply looked like:

I know that there is an image there though, because i can see when i quote it:

Has this been happening to anyone else?

I remember when i opened the "Win the internet" thread some days ago, one of the replies was just:

No displayed pictures. However, after refreshing and reloading. They were displayed.

Yes, I notice this a lot. I usually refresh the page and it works. I thought it was just me

i usually do a preview post before i post pics or anything and when i did it, it worked. i don't know what happend but i just checked it and yes, i am just getting Image. Hmmz...

Yeah, been having the same problem but refreshing it doesnt help. Usually I have to quote and copy past the url.

Yeah i do that also, copy and paste the URL let the image load on its own, and then once its in the memory of the comp it loads..

I dono, seems kinda wierd

I never get Image instead of a pic, but what I do get is that the image doesn't work...¬.¬

I notice that the word "Image" replaces the original picture when something is wrong or corrupted, like if the picture is too big ie. Thats what I've noticed while I've posted pics, and after I resize the pic, it comes out normally.

i see it all the time in picture wars! it is really annoying when you have no idea what someone posted and you are supposed to 1-up it!

try to lower your security protection in IE
Make sure u checked "Show picture" in advanced tab.

Yeah I get those Images things too, I refresh and most of the time they show up but sometimes they don't. It's starting to get annoying. Does it happen to IE too or only firefox?

It did it in my sig, then I noticed it said Cannot determine pixel measuremtns. They were odd numbers like 268 or something (i know it's not odd, i mean not rounded to ten number) I resized and rounded them to ten and haven't gotten the error before. Maybe something with phpbb3?
