I'm looking forward to the tweaks and changes and I really want to get back into serious PvP on my mage. School>WoW though so it's going to have to wait a few weeks.

Sunwell Scouts>My guild. Those things are annoying as ****. Spend as much time on trash as we did playing with Kalecgos. I think we can get him Sunday though.

most of my addons still seem to be fine in patch 2.4. Only really skinner, gatherer and sct that were having problems.

Its a shame i was at college til 5 today so ive only just started playing! done all the new dailys, going back to do the old dailys at the moment then im gonna try and hit magisters terrace. but theres already like 4 groups of 3 dps all looking for tanks and healers :banghead:

Because their OP?

SL/SL spec, ya cant kill em easy, fat chance if paired with a healer

And they can put much more damage on your healer, than you can on their healer

plus pets

plus noobcoil

plus fear spam

god help you if their paired with the other SERIOUSLY OP class in 2's bracket, dun dun dun... resto druids

Being an arms warrior in arena, lock is a class that I can kill in seconds, I cant be feared, gg

give him a healer and that changes everything, plus pet mitigation from SL/SL, its miserable fight tooth and nail; and with crazy damage and no need for mana cuz life tap, just sit and die... its faster

This lock in vengeance battlegroup had full blues, and almost 1900 arena rating... now hes pushing... 2300 last I looked and full s3? and his partner a resto shammy.... not as bad as a rest druid in 2's bracket but... earthshield sigh

Yeah, everything was OK on the PTR. But then I couldn't log in.
Some stupid bug. Just deleted interface+WTF+Cache and everything worked again, so I had to rebuild.

Anyone see that arena representation bracket on wowfroums? Although it doesn't show anything specific, people are yelling nerf rogues because there are more rogues than they expected (rogue/lock T.T). Of course, the same bracket shows hunter under-represented, so I say BUFF HUNTERS!

I roll hunter/druid for 2s, just finished a 2 hour game. Got in with a sl/sl lock and a druid, finally killed the druid 20 mins into the game and happen to die right after that, my druid and the lock went at it for an hour and a half, lock decided to afk out.

its pretty easy, even on heroic. Accept one boss which is actually like 5 mobs: the main one(supposed to be a warrior i guess), an engineer, a lock, a shaman and a hunter (lock and hunter both have pets). Kinda annoying since they dont seem to care about aggro sometimes but they can all be cc'ed so with some good crowd control its easy. Just took us a few attempts to figure out who should cc what for a good outcome (that was only a problem on heroic though, was easy enough to just nuke them all and maybe attempt some cc on normal). Its pretty short aswell but one thing that i find annoying is the stupid enclosed spaces you have to fight in from time to time, dont like them as a ranged class :(.

EDIT:hmm, turns out the mobs for the 3rd boss are random. didnt notice it each time in normal because we just nuked the crap out of them but just did heroic again and noticed there was a rogue mob and a mage mob instead of the lock and hunter.

no! stupid patch 2.4. Heroics and dailys n whatnot actually reset at mignight now instead of like 5 in the morning or whatever it was before! kinda screwed us over last night when we did the heroic daily at 12:30 and now find we cant do todays heroic daily.

W00T W00T started playing wow again.

I'm kinda stuck tho, dunno what proffs to pick on my mage (lvl 40 frost spec). I got 300 g and already have my mount so i don't rly want skinning+mining for cash.

I guess enchanting + tailoring is what i want right? But i've had that too many times lol :(

Ye alchemy is fun, and herbalism is an easy profession to take with it (if you're going to buy all the plants your 300 gold will be gone in no time)

And a mage can always use some HP and mana pots :)

i think heroic MgT is gonna get nerfed. It doesnt need to be but theres so many people who dont know how to do it complaining its hard that it probably will.

The reason is, the second boss. If you get a good group who knows that they are doing its easy. DPS each take 2 (maybe 3 at a push) of the adds each, anymore and your gonna die, then the tank has to take quite a few but its never seemed to be a problem for the healers to keep them alive in the groups ive been in. If the tank dosnt take adds you got adds wandering around killing everyone with whatever the aoe crap they do is because if the dps kill anymore the DoT debuff is gonna rip em down in no time. This is what usually happens and then the tank blames the dps for not killing adds, everyone thinks its hard and keep wipeing until they give up.

Ive managed to enlighten 1 tank who didnt know what he was doing before(the tanks ive had before that knew what they were doing luckly), we wiped like 3 times before he listened and then the boss went down in no time, but the tank today just wouldnt have it! In the end he kicked me because i was trying to tell him what to do! Then they wiped again with some spriest replacement and everyone left and the tank is now on a few more peoples ignore lists!
